Introduction
The organisations of modern era completely depend on the technology as it helps to increase
productivity. They prefer to use technology for completing their task as early as possible. In case
of business organisations, the authority has tried to use technology for innovating and achieving
their aim in a competitive edge. In case of organisations, the authority needs to promote and
provide advertisement about their products. Hence, they use social media, which helps to reduce
their expenditure in the effective way. However, the study will focus on impact of using digital
technology for developing the small-medium sized business like Bell’s Cafe. It is a small size
organisation, which is situated at Wembley, UK (bellescafevt.com, 2017). It will emphasise
about aim, objectives of the project. In order to manage the plan of venture, proper strategy like
setting time, communication will be discussed. Proper procedure of data analysis like
quantitative and qualitative will be negotiated throughout the study. Organisational theory will
be used for developing the management procedure of the business project. After accomplishing
the study, appropriate recommendation wo9uld be provided.

Explanation of project management
The project management is the way, which helps to complete the task in the appropriate way. As
per the viewpoint of McGuirk et al. (2015, p.969), if the authority of venture is able to manage
their project efficiently, they can earn success for the venture. In case of Bell’s Cafe, as they
provide different types of dishes like lunch menu, breakfast and many others, using digital
technology, like software Zomato, they can expand their business.
Overview of Bell’s Cafe
Bell’s Cafe is an organisation, which is situated in Wembley, UK. The number of employee is
around 110. It is small-size organisation. They provide different foods like homemade muffin,
croissant and many others for providing satisfaction to their customers. They also provide the
catering service for increasing their profit (bellescafevt.com, 2017).
Project description

As bell’s Cafe is a small- size venture, their upcoming project is to expand business using digital
technology. In order to extend business, the authority tries to design their website in the
attractive way for getting effective outcome in the contemporary market.
Objectives
● To understand the impact of using digital technology in the small-medium size business
like Ta Bell’s Cafe
● To understand the viewpoint of customers for using digital technology in the business of
small-medium size
● To provide recommendation as the organisation like Bell’s Cafe can develop their
business in the contemporary market.
Aims
The aim of the project is to develop the business condition using digital technology in the
appropriate way. As Bell’s Cafe is the small organisation and provides support to the users for
improving their personality in order to get job in the competitive market, their aim is to become a
large venture in UK.
P2 Project management plan
As per the viewpoint of Mohammad and Singh (2015, p.20), the plan of project management is
the process of developing the task in effective way. If the organisations are able to chalk out the
plan, they can complete their task step by step. The importance of project management plan lies
in the fact that it helps to understand the scope, communication, time quality, cost, resources and
risk of the project. Those are followed by-
Scope
As mentioned by Weill and Woerner (2015, p.30), in the small-medium business, the business
authority is able to keep contact with all employees for taking the appropriate decision. The
above-mentioned notion is considered as scope of the project. In time of planning, the business
authority needs to find out their scope for completing the research in the efficient way. Using
digital technology like equipment, social media and so on helps the venture to get success.
In case of Bell’s Cafe, as the authority tries to expand their business, they try to design their
website in the charming way for getting positive outcome. If the authority of Bell’s Cafe is able
to attract customers by designing their website properly, it can attract large number of people at a
time.

Communication
In order to launch a project, the authority needs to communicate with the employees or
customers of the venture. In order to build effective communication system, social media is very
much helpful. If the employees of Bell’s Cafe are able to express their conception to the web
designer, they can imply in the proper way. Henceforth, combination assists to complete the
project appropriately.
Cost and time quality
In time of introducing new project, the authority needs to set their budget as they can achieve
profit from their project. However, the authority should set their time in the perfect way as they
can produce their service or products within deadline. In case of Bell’s Cafe, for designing the
website in the attractive way, the authority can recruit web designer for getting positive
feedback. Henceforth, authority has allocated $2 million for achieving their mission. They have
tried to complete the entire task within 7 months.
Risk and resources
As asserted by McGuirk et al. (2015, p.970), though digital technology helps to manage the
business appropriately, many a times, the workers are not able to handle the digital technology.
Henceforth, it creates problems related to the manufacturing of products in the organisation. In
case of Bell’s Cafe, many a times, it has been noticed that, the web designer is not able to design
the website properly and they are not able to update cafe related information efficiently.
However, in time of designing the website, the authority collects data related to the condition
cafe in market for getting positive feedback.

As Bell’s Cafe wants to design their website in the lucrative way, the authority makes research
on the service of other cafes in the contemporary market. After that, they recruit web designer as
they can attract huge number of people at a time. Thereafter, the web designers discuss with
authority of venture about the designing of the web site. They write program and prepare the
website in the luminous way. They set their budget within $2 million for introducing digital
technology in the venture. They have taken period of 7 months for implementing their new
above-mentioned strategy.

As mentioned by Audretsch and Belitski (2017, p.1050), the work breakdown structure shows
proper plan of the venture for achieving their aim in the contemporary merchandise market. In
case of Bell’s Cafe, as they want to design their website in the charming way, the authority
makes research for knowing the business condition of the cafes. In order to write the program,
the web designers take more than 1 months and apply it in the proper way. Nambisan (2017,
p.1051) stated that, digital technology helps to remove distance as people can use service from
home. However, in business organisations, the authority should not recruit employees for
keeping report about the expenditure of the venture. Digital technology like computer is able

keep the record of the venture in the effective way. It makes the job easier to the workers. In
order to provide online service using digital technology, Bell’s Cafe has taken 7 months’ time for
implementing their new perception in the market.
