INTRODUCTION
Employees are the most significant asset of a company from different sectors or industry.
They are the people who have the responsibility of doing different activities and tasks in
companies. Employees are the people who have contribution in companies for achieving
objectives that have been already set at earlier stages (Saadat and Eskandari, 2016). So it
becomes essential for companies to manage employees so that they can be retained in the
organisation for a longer period of time. The current research is based upon Barclays Bank which
provides financial services to its customers’, this financial institution has made its place in the
market by giving great financial services. This project aims at discussing objectives, questions,
aims and project management plan and for these different methods are used to gather
information.

P1 Aims and objectives of the project
Background of the research:
This particular project depends upon talent management in financial sector. Talent
management is necessary in achieving objectives of Barclays Bank because if employees are
satisfied then they provide great services to customers. There are various challenges and
obstacles faced by Barclays Bank in terms of talent management. So with this research different
strategies are provided to reduce these obstacles and challenges.
Research Aim:
“To identify the major challenges and obstacles of talent management and their impact on
finance sector”. A study on Barclays Bank.
Objectives:
To determine the major issues of talent management in Barclays Bank.
To identify the impact of talent management challenges and obstacles on business
performance of Barclays Bank within finance sector.
To explore the ways for mitigating challenges and obstacles of talent management in
Barclays Bank.
Questions:
What are the major issues of talent management in Barclays Bank ?

P2 Formation of a project management plan by including various aspects
The current project aims at reaching pre-defined aim and objectives. Project management
plan refers to the process which has different methods, stages and steps for achieving the desired
aim and objectives. Some of the components of project management plan that play major role in
conducting the research project are defined below:
Cost: Cost is defined as all expenses which have incurred at the time of doing the project. There
is need to systematically project and allocate funds for completing the project properly and
smoothly. The current budget of £ 500 needed to carry out the project successfully.
Scope: The scope has various functions and features that need to be met in the present project.
The scope refers to the particular area of the research project to it would support. With the
systematic decision related to time, resources and goals the scope is considered of the project.
The scope includes list of plans, procedures, activities and objectives needed to carry out the
project. By determining scope the apt picture of project is formulated and tasks are decided fully
dedicated to scope. For conducting the project proficient and skilled are needed.
Time: Time holds an important role in the project management plan. Time is second most
important thing after formulating aim and objectives of project. In this the time required carry
out the project is decided. For successful project it is necessary to make a proper time frame. For
the present project the time required for completing research is 3 months.
Quality: In project management plan quality refers to the activities should be completed in a
high quality. For every activity benchmark is set so that it becomes compulsion to reach that
specific benchmark or beyond that.
Communication: It is necessary to have a proper communication channel in the project
management plan so that no chance of missing out any information by any person. The feedback
system should be adopted so that mistakes and appreciation could be determined. For the current
research communication happens between researcher, managers and public.
