Dear Store Managers,
Couponing has been identified as a cost productive way for brands in order to reward loyalty,
drive purchase rate and further encourage brand trial. However, an elevating level of risk
discount vouchers and incentives have been manipulated through high level scams. For
example, recently there has been observed a severe rate of counterfeit discount coupons
claiming to offer free ice-cream bars from Häagen-Dazs, a brand represented in Canada by
Nestlé.
Thus, as being engaged to the supply chain team of Food World we should focus on
strategically countering these issues by only accepting money-off vouchers as payment at the
departure section if the terms and conditions of company are successfully accomplished.
Furthermore, in response to the elevating concern from brands across diverse brands, our
company must focus on new guidelines by restricting the sale of vouchers on company’s official
website.
Additionally, our company must acquire greater strengths in order to strategically
increase the criticality level of fake discount vouchers to reproduce vouchers as we will be
effectively printing money. Lastly, with the rise of counterfeit vouchers and discount coupons
FoodWorld to regain its customer base and improve sales growth must take robust action in
order to tackle actions specifically with the sale of vouchers which have been examined through
