INTRODUCTION
Marketing essentials refers to the techniques and practices of sales, advertising and
promotion of the products and services are done by organisation. In the business when
production and design of the products and services are completed then their is need of the
marketing essential to increases the sales by different techniques of the marketing.
Nestle is the multinational company of food in the world which provides the different
variety of foods and drinks to the people. The headquarter of the Nestle is at Vevey, Switzerland.
There are various roles and responsibilities of the marketing function which are explained
below. This file determine the interrelation of the different units of the organisation with the
marketing functions. To achieve the objectives and goals of the business there are marketing mix
strategies which is used by their business. This report evaluate the plan of the marketing.

There are various roles responsibilities of the marketing function which helps to increases
the sales and profits of the business. To achieve the objectives of the business nestle have
different kinds of the marketing functions which have different roles and responsibilities in the
business. These roles and responsibilities of the marketing are described below:
Market planning: In the business of the Nestle effective planning of the marketing leads to the
successful achievement of goals of the business (Schaefer, 2018). Market planning of the Nestle
includes the various information related to the position of the company, target market and
customer, competitors and strategies of the promotions. It helps to determine the aim of the
company.
Product development: It refers to the creation of new and innovative products which fulfils the
needs and wants of the customer. To increases the sales and productivity of the business nestle
modifies the existing products with effective quality and feature that attract the number of
customers.
Market research: With the help of this process nestle will analysis, interpret and collect
information of the market which determine the needs and wants of the customer about the
product which is offered by them (Pike, 2015). To achieve the success and growth of the Nestle
it evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the competitors to the business
