INTRODUCTIONProduct development is a process in which new product is been launched in the market tosatisfy all needs of customers. Menu planning is the process in which customers can choose themenu according to their balanced diet. The Italian restaurant that had been mentioned in thereport is pizza pick up. It is an Italian restaurant and international concession that has beenfounded in 1958. This restaurant having 16,796 restaurants pizza in all over the world. In thereport the restaurant is need to discuss some principles and factors of recipe development andassess the factors that influence the menu planning decisions (Wright, 2018).It also make anemphasis on the factors that influence the service methods. Pizza pick up also discusses thestages of menu product development plan. It also evaluate the influences of different factors onthe product development process that has been mentioned in the report.TASK 11.1 Discuss the principles and factors of recipe developmentMenu development is a process in which people make orders according to their balanceddiet of the customers (Renwick, Redman and Maguire2013). Pizza pick up need to satisfy allcustomers wants needs according to their requirement in the restaurant.Principles of recipe development-When making the recipe development of pizza pick up the executive chief of therestaurants considers the following principles-Availability of resources- The restaurant considers the following recipe that satisfy theneeds and wants of the customers . Pizza pick up make different strategic planning for the recipedevelopment so that more customers come and prefer the Italian food.Food habits- Pizza pick up make different food according to the customers taste andpreferences. The restaurant may know what are the habits of the customers who want to buy theirproducts. If more customers come in their restaurants more demand will be their.Type of customers- It is a necessary principle so that the restaurant to be know that whattype of customers are coming. Pizza pick up make a list of card in which customers come andgive the feedback for the food they will offer. Factors of recipe development-

These factors are those when the restaurant depends upon the customers taste andpreferences of the customers. Pizza pick up is an Italian restaurant that make different factors sothat they can analyse the demand of the customers and make special dishes for the customers. Taste- It depends upon what type of taste that the customers will want to eat in therestaurant . Pizza pick up make good Italian food so that more customers come and buy theirfood. It depends upon the taste of the customers that which dish they will like and on the basis ofit, people give the feedback(Jackson, Schuler and Jiang, 2014). Colour- This factor make an impact on the colour criteria that it is using. It depends uponthe customers that which colour they would like when they eat the Italian dish depending uponthe taste and quality of products.Temperature- It depends upon the monsoon region. According to it Pizza pick up itmake the dishes on the basis of the temperature conditions, whether the customers like the dishor not.1.2 Evaluate factors that influence menu-planning decisionsAs we have mentioned in the above that menu planning depends upon the taste andpreferences of the customers. Their are certain factors that pizza pick up had made an assess thathad on menu planning decisions are as follows-Weather conditions-Pizza make the dishes according to the weather conditions whether itis winter, summer and in rainy season. In the summer season customers may like to buy icecreams that more customers would like to buy it and pizza pick up made exclusive dishes thatmore customers come and like their dish .Availability of food-It is the important factor that restaurant are need to made good dishesso that more customers came and like their dishes. This may enhance the demand to pizza pickup when more customers and buy their dishes.Taste and preferences- Pizza pick up make different menu according to the needs andpreferences of the customers. It depends upon culture, religious, gender and made differentparameters by determining the needs and wants of the customers.Budget-It is the most important feature that restaurant requires to prepare the budgetaccording to the needs and wants of the customers (Albrecht and et.al., 2015). It depends on thecost, sales and the effective desires of the customers. Pizza pick up make a budget scheme whenit analyse the needs and wants of customers.
