INTRODUCTION
In the present time, technological development is continuously increased due to its huge
demand. In the business context, every functional department required effective source of
technology. In the absence of effective technology, company can not carry out its business
activities and functions. Thus, it is very important for the corporation to adopt effective source of
technology for enhance its business performance and growth. The present research project is
based on the significance of digital technology on the business enterprise. With help of effective
source of digital technology, company can enhance its existing performance and growth in the
market. In a simple word it can be said that digital technology describes electronic technology
that generate, stores and processes data in terms of two states that is positive and non positive. In
the present report, researcher have major objective is to analyse the impact of digital technology
on the business activities and growth of the small business enterprise that is Black Penny
restaurant. This is small business enterprise that offers a dedicated space for dinning and in the
centre of the capital. The major objective of this venture is to deliver high quality of services to
its customer and gain effective profitability. For this objective, cited venture is using several
kinds of effective digital technology. Thus, researcher have objective to analyse the impact of

Research methodology is one of the most significant aspect which assist in attaining its
actual outcome of study. It is systematic, theoretical analysis of the method applied to a field of
study (Saunders and Bezzina, 2015). It consists with various method and techniques such as
research approach, research philosophies, research techniques, data collection, data analysis,
sampling etc. In the present study, in order to analyse the impact of digital technology on the
business performance and activities of restaurant scholar will implement several methods of
research methodology which are as follows- Research philosophies- Research philosophy is considered as the brief of researcher
regarding the way that how data will be collected, examined and analysed. With

assistance of research philosophies, scholar can analyse the sources which aids in
developing knowledge and nature of the study (Wilson, 2001). There are major two kinds
of philosophies such as interpritivim and positivism research philosophies. In the present
study, researcher will apply positivism research philosophy for analyse the influence of
digital technology on the performance and growth of the Black Penny restaurant in the
UK. Research approach- Research approach is another significant method in the research
methodology by which data can easily collect and analyse by the scholar. There are major
two kinds of research approach that is inductive and deductive. In the inductive approach,
new theories are being developed on the basis of available data or information (Smith and

carried out from particular to general. In the present study, researcher will apply
