INTRODUCTION
In the present time every business enterprise requires effective growth and success in the
competitive business environment. In order to compete with rival and sustain in the market for
long time, company develops effective strategies and tactics. In this aspect, digital technology is
one of the source through which firm can increase its existing speed and procedure of the
business. Digital technology is the branch of scientific or engineering knowledge that deals with
the creation and practical use of digital or computerised device, method and systems. In the
digital technology includes several equipments such as laptop, computer, Wi-Fi, internet social
media etc. With help of these all technological equipment and source, any business entity can
enhance the experience of customer and deliver quick and fast services in the market. The
present report provides the depth knowledge and understanding about the digital technology and
its impact upon the growth and innovation within small business enterprise with respect of Black
Penny restaurant. Thus, in order to accomplish this subject objective, researcher have used
several methods and techniques of research methodologies and conduct survey for data
collection.

In the competitive business environment, it is very important for every company to
design such effective strategy through which it can compete with rivals. In this aspect,
implementation of digital technology can assist to company in improving the existing procedure
and performance of company. With help of digital technology, firm can easily store and transfer
importance information related to business activities and functions. In the current research
project, the major aim of researcher is to analyse the impact of digital technology on the growth
and innovation within small business enterprise. Researcher actually desires to acknowledge the
impact of digital technology on the customer services and experiences in the hospitality sector.
Thus, for attain this objective, scholar have applied qualitative research technique along with
primary data collection.

P2 Design the project management plan that covers aspects of cost, scope, time, quality,
communication etc
The major objective of project management plan is to deliver right suggestion to the
project manager of Black Penny restaurant so as effective strategy can formulate in order to
manage different types of projects. With assistance of project plan, manager can effectively
analyse requirement of various resource and analyse effective source for meet the requirement of
project. In order to develop the project management plan, manager needs to emphasis the various
aspect which are as follows-
Time- In order to conduct research and obtain appropriate outcome, time is essential
element which influence the project management plan (Fotis, John, Buhalis and Rossides,
2012). Thus, it is essential for manager to set small target and establish time of
completion of the activity. In the current research, scholar have very limited time period

due to which it is very complex to carry out all activities of research within small period.
Considering the time factor is essential as it may have great effect on the quality of
research (Hvass, Kristian and Munar, 2012). Thus, in order to minimise the impact of
short period. Gantt chart and work break down structure have adopted by researcher as
this allow them to divide or categorise their work on the basis of priorities. These
methods can aid to researcher in saving their time as well as accomplish the entire task in
the systematic manner.
Cost- Cost is another significant resource that help to researcher in accomplishing their
research. In the absence of sufficient cost, researcher can not accomplish the whole
investigation and associated activities (Hays, Stephanie, Page and Buhalis, 2013). As
researcher have to bear various cost as well as expenses on executing various activities
such as transportation, stationary, collection of information, internet etc. Thus, due to
lack of financial resource, researcher may face difficulties.
Scope of the study- The present research study facilitates researcher in order to acquiring
knowledge about the impact of digital technology on the business growth and innovation
in the hospitality sector (Hjalager and Anne-Mette, 2010). With help of this investigation,
scholar can obtain the several platforms and equipments in the terminology of digital
technology. By use of this study researcher can identify the criteria through which it can
make business more effective, fastest and easy. Furthermore, this study also facilitates to
restaurant manager in getting knowledge about utilisation of various sources of digital
technology.
Communication- In the current research study, researcher conducted survey for collect
primary information about the digital technology and its impact on the growth and
innovation within the Small business enterprise (Hudson, Simon, and Thal, 2013). Thus,
for conduct the survey, scholar have been prepared a systematic questionnaire along with
questions of digital technology and its impact on the growth and success of organisation.
Researcher have taken the personal email address of 25 employees in the Black Penny
restaurant and send all of them. This is the best strategy to conduct researcher without
any biasness so as respondents can freely answer the questions.

Risk- In the current research study, the major risk is associated related to plagiarism. As
in the research study, secondary information has been included so it is major threat
related to plagiarism. On the other hand other risk is associated with the reliability and
accuracy of the information.
