MGMT20140: Simple Reflective TemplateTemplate number: 3 Name and student ID: Activity/experience Description: Problem Finding and Needs Analysis Date of the activity/experience: Thoughts and Feelings DURING the activity: The workshop rightly said that often when a problem is seen by a person, we tend to jump to a solution or conclusion rather than digging deep into the problem and finding more facts and figures. Once a deeper understanding of the problem and the demand source is achieved, it is easier to make designs that relate to them and showcase how the resolutions are actually effective. I was able to formulate a deep connection between problem finding and problem solving. Thoughts and Feelings AFTER the activity: While reading my previous blogs, I identified that I had come a long way in knowing about designs and the methodologies that must be adopted. Before finding the right resolution, it is crucial to know everything about a problem starting from its source to the current scenarios that are at hand. Similarly, this helps in knowing more about the needs of the customers before proposing any design that we expect them to like. What can you learn from this activity? I learnt that understanding the source of the problem is important before proposing the solution of the service or product to the target customers. What can you do to develop yourself further in the context of this activity? I can analyse the existing visuals and advertisements that are deemed to be ideal in this context and find the missing pieces in other advertisements as to why they do not work.
