INTRODUCTION
Knowledge management system is refer to the system of IT system that stores and
retrieves knowledge and improve collaboration, locates knowledge sources, mines repositories
for hidden knowledge. The purpose of knowledge management system is to explores the
database system and more importantly to discover the new managerial work outcomes. Present
study will also base on the knowledge management system of the case study of WeCare Wildlife
Group (WWG). However, this Study will further explains and also developing a Knowledge
Management System for the better development. Also I need to develop a database structures
and how these are best in contributing the structure for staff members. At the end segment of
the study it will explains the Monitoring techniques to evaluate the development areas.
TASK 1
Determining the current and future knowledge management needs.
Knowledge management in companies is based on the concept that knowledge is present
in the minds of employees (Diedrich and Guzman, 2015). In order to develop the company
website and information technology. It is requires for them to gain the effective result outcomes.
After conducting an interview with Frankie it has been found that, he having issue to regulate the
website content properly and it was very hard for him to drive the main office and managed. In
order to develop a knowledge based system following trends and sources must be consider into
the process for Frankie. So in meeting following points will need to be discussed with clients.
Ways to Improve Knowledge management system
Basically KM system is the process of planning, organizing, motivating and controlling
the overall system of the organization to motivate staff and employees to perform a great
performance as well as to get the effective decision making process. In professional terms, this
system includes knowledge in the form of printed document like patent and manuals which has
been stored in electronic repositories for example database (García-Holgado, García-Peñalvo,
and Rodríguez-Conde, 2015). Basically the main purpose of KM is to provide knowledge and
necessary data for motivate people to participate in the process.
Current & future Trend in KM
Social media knowledge management tool
This way to promote website content might be useful for the Frankie to handle the
website as well the office too. Providing knowledge information through Social media is the

easiest way to promoting WWG. This could help to get engagement of huge people towards the
organization. Through this trend staff can also communicate easier with the people (Xiaojun,
2017).
Search Indexing is evolving
This is the another way to promoting the task and also build the highest business goals.
Along with that, it also helps to manage the website content and also manage the data and
information in more proper manner (Grace and et.al., 2015). Basically, social business
applications like social intranet software and knowledge based software rely on robust search
functionality to ensure peak performance. So this trend can be useful for the WWG.
Collaboration tools
This is the another tool which certainly makes the thing more properly effective. Also, it
relies on the system which exploratory makes the work more reliable and also support the
effective system task. This been a great system for business processes but connecting your team
members can be challenge especially if can staff working remotely (Içten and et.al., 2016 ). This
system can helpful for WWG to become more collaborative than ever also seen in social intranet
which allowing individuals to work on the files.
Mobile technology
This is one of the most handy and effective device for KM. More KM software are
focussing on visuals to make the job of locating files and navigating through the database.
Data Base Structure
Data Base is the organized collection of data and generally stored and accessed
electronically from a computer. Also, it applies and systematic performance management system
to ensure the systematic goals. Also, I make sure the things into more systematic manner. Data
Base structure is the electronically base device (Jan and Contreras, 2016). So this device is also
very convenient for the staff members to get better understand the data. So basically, WWG
consists data base structure in which it consists managers, employees, supervisors, work-on,
departments, projects and dependent.

Process of taking knowledge management system
Stage 1: Establish knowledge management program objectives
This is the foremost process of Knowledge management system which explores the basic
and influencing systematic goal performance and also influencing the business goal performance.
In order to establish the best system for (WWG) WeCare Wildlife Group there has to a proper
objectives to identify the document the business problems that need resolution and the business
drivers.
Stage 2: Prepare for Change
Knowledge management strategy for the company is Evernote this is the new knowledge
management which is very reliable and effective access the basic insights on getting started.
However, they also offer something unique as well. This system can helpful to allowing
customers to suggest new recommendation (Liebowitz and Frank, eds., 2016). It helps buyers to
get more better knowledge about the animal species which enable to increase the customer
understanding with the product or services.
Step 3: Define a High Level Process as a Foundation
In this next step manager should required to define a high level process to implement the
plan. Beginning with a high level process which helps to progressively develop and hone
detailed procedures throughout the other steps. Organizations that overlook or loosely define the
knowledge (Liebowitz, 2019).
Step 4: Determine and Prioritize Technology Needs
In this following step next process is to enhance the automate knowledge management
related activities. Also it has been determined and prioritize the knowledge management related

activities. In order to build up the knowledge management system it requires to set up the
priority activities.
Step 5: Assess Current Sales
Once the objectives has done the next process is to create cultural changes which defined
a high level process and also determined the prioritized the technology needs. There should be
concluded the involvement of major elements such as People, processes, technology structure
and culture (Marie and et.al., 2018). All such helps to provide overview of the system.
Stage 6: Build a knowledge management implementation roadmap
With the motive of providing the effective database system to better handling the office
elements. Present system has created Evernote knowledge management system for the
organization. By the help of Evernote model undoubtedly gain additional insight through the
lessons learned earlier projects that can be applied to future projects as well.
Stage 7: Implementation
Next step towards heading knowledge management system. This is the last second stage
where the strategy has been implementing. As long as there the value and benefits of the
developing program are recognized there should be little resistance to continue investing in
knowledge management.
Step 8 : Improve and measuring
In this process next step would be considering as the follow up gain. After implementing
the Evernote system. Next process of the company is to measure the process and make sure the
performance outcomes.

WeCare Wildlife Group (WWG) has been rescuing and caring for native animals since
1990, WWG actively rehabilitates Australian Wildlife and in spite other to become involved.
Images show links to emergency services how to rescue, volunteer and donate (Overton, Koile,
and Pastor, 2018). Currently company facing hard time to manage the system. In other words,
organization has an office that is open 365 days a year which helps to maintained the following
business goals. They provide wildlife information and education to communities and are licensed
to rescue and care for wildlife. The purpose of the company is to providing the safety and
precautions to the animals. Also, they provide knowledge to the communities which are licensed
to rescue and care for wildlife NSW. WWG mainly care for these native species. Bandicoots,

Koalas, Kangaroos, Possums, Birds, Flying foxes, Wombats, Snakes, Lizards, Turtles, Sugar
glider, butcher birds, snakes, bats, flying foxes etc. all such information is useful to develop the
knowledge management system which can helpful to manage the work and website content.
Along with this matter it will help to control the business activities to perform in different
manner.
Structure of new information system
Evernote Knowledge system give voice to customers to gain valuable opportunity to
learn from their clients to the company. Canvas knowledge management system is the simple
well designed system or method which creating designs, basics etc.
Standards to follow
Standards of this new application software which helps to by accessing or using the
service in proper way (Schmitt, 2016).
Styles
this application can create interest among customers by its designs, layout and work
outcomes.

Evernote having easy and flexible changing version.

it has easy accuracy to contain data and information.

Add Information in Evernote has simple process to follow like Evernote provides variety
of text and text holders to help creating effective text and layout design.

Assessing the monitoring process to ensure success of the knowledge management system that
they developed.
1. Meet the client and staff
After passing 6 months when Evernote has been exist properly (Senderov and et.al.,
2018). It has been found from the feedback that how much this is essential for the organization to

fulfil the aim and objectives. Also it has been found that, how much business and following task
is useful to create new emerging relation with the clients. It has been found from the meeting.
That customers are quite happy and satisfied with the Website of the company which properly
handle and managed with the helps of new knowledge management system which was ever note.
Also, it has been found that client feedback is more good and very challenging to understand the
effective results and goals (Wang and et.al., 2018). Gather feedback on the system by clients are
been great and positive. Also in the meeting it has been discussed that to getting more
information company should more focus on the other KMS application which are available.
2. Make changes to the KMS
apart from this it also helps to make better understand the opportunity to manage the
system more refining and understandable. In case of any failure and problems there must be
having the enough knowledge and task. Such issue might be happen like technical programming
and design know how, organizational know and how based on the understand of knowledge
flows.

Feedback
Client feedback is good and excellent towards the new knowledge management system
where they easily get the all information regarding the WildCare and also the all information
regarding the native species (Wang and Wang, 2016). Also, client easily get the all information
and data to handle the business system task. Also it might helpful to understand the following
business activities.
Changes Made
Changes made in knowledge management system was to shift towards the new
application which is more useful and easy to access which is Evernote. This is the best
application to make client happy and satisfied.
Instructions
Further instructions about the Evernote is to make the thing more understanding and
influencing the more systematic data (Worthley, 2015). Which can easily helpful to better get the
things properly.

On the basis of above report it has been found out that how knowledge management
