This will help them, to achieve their goals and growth in the market. MAIN BODY Importance of motivation at the workplace Motivation in the employees plays important roles for the company to take competitive advantages. They give their best toward thework and help to achievegoals and objectives of the company (Rudolph., 2016). It will be beneficial for the TESCIO company if they will focus to motivate their employees because employees are the most important part of the company, and theyare responsible to run organizational activities. Employees from the TESCO will work in the new stores which can be demotivatethem, and they can lose their efficiency in the work. Providing them motivation will give them a support, andthey willwork for the company effectively.They will give their best to achieve thegoals of thecompany. Motivation in the employees of the JACK storeswill allows management to meet the company's goals. Without motivated workplace, companies could be placed in a very risky position. Motivated employees can lead to increased productivity and allow an organization to achieve higher levels of output.. If an individual is motivated, he will have job satisfaction. Motivation will help in self- development of individual. An individual would always gain by working with a dynamic team and support of the otherswhichwillincrease their efficiency of the work, and they can give their bestto achieve task goals and it willbeneficial for the TESCO Discount stores toshow their presence in the market and gain competitive advantages. There are there are some motivation theories such as Maslow's needs of Hierarchy and Vroom's expectancy theory. This theories can be useful for the TESCO company for their Jack Stores. 1) Maslow'smotivational theory Physiological needs There are some needs required for thehuman survivalsuch as Air, water. Cloths and sleep (Camaj., 2019). It is important for the superiors of the Jackstoresto provide their employees proper breaks for their food, rest etc so they can work with full efficiency. Safety Needs As a manager, you can account for the safety needs of your employees by providingsafe working conditions, secure compensation (such as a salary) and job security, which is especially important in a bad economy. Social needs Social need such as spending time with the family, fends etc are the humans personal and social needsso Managers of the Jack stores can provide proper lives, so they can spend some times with their family and friends. This will motivate them a bring new energy ton work. Esteem needs Employees are also human, and they also deserve to get respect so company's superiors should behave nice with their employees andcommunicate with them, so they can share their problems with them. This interaction will help to motivate them. Self actualization describe a person's need to reach his or her full potential. The need to become what one is capable of is something that is highly personal. This need canlead them toward the success so managers should give them a higher responsibilities to motivate them. 2)Vroom's expectancy theory Expectancy Expectancyis the idea that increasing the amount of effort will increase performance (if I work harder then I will perform better.) This will help the Jack stores to takedecision to apply those theories at their workplace, and they should not apply those motivational theories to motivate their employees for their new discount stores.
