1.1 Title
Movie tickets online booking information system
1.2 General Description
A local cinema theatre has introduced online movie ticket booking system. It is named as MTOBIS.
The aim is to give a good ticketing experience to the customers and improve the system’s efficiency.
The information system is associated with several tasks:
1. Sign up for new customers and sign in for existing customers. To book ticket there is no need
to sign in but loyal customers will receive offer so signing in is necessary (Urquhart &
Fernandez, 2016).
2. Movie searching. Here also, no need to sign in to search movies. They need to choose type
such as name of the movie, time of the show, type-2D or 3D, etc.
3. Ticketing. Payment can be done online for ticket booking using PayPal or credit card. If the
online booking has been processed successfully, customer will receive an email with an
attachment containing the booking confirmation.
4. Movie information update. The cinema manager will operate this. He or she will update the
new movie information regularly.

The internal components and functions of the information system including the particular
