1 Introduction
We shall be setting up a LAN system for our client, “Think Tank Company”, which is

to develop a local network which shall include all its devices, windows server and their client
environment. They have chosen Melbourne area for their upcoming branch as the ideal
location, which with their Sydney head office and its 10 computers shall have to be
interlinked on a LAN system, bringing all these devices together on the same platform.
We shall be doing all the study like how many devices shall be required more,
computers, LAN equipments, Cables, Printers etc with the aim of creating a centralized and
consolidated hub for all the data/ information to be authorized, authenticated and distributed
to all its branches and further devices by this windows server and client based environment
with the aid of LAN. We shall be focusing on their core requirements, their data usage and
type of computer requirement to fulfil the LAN system network. For arranging the
corresponding elements and the proposed LAN controller into the system, we shall have to
suggest a hierarchical model to include all these with the additional units and other devices
like Printers, Laptops, and Client based validation framework, easy access to IP address for
utilization, etc.
We shall be conducting an in-depth analysis, evaluation, data collection and then
developing this whole project for the implementation of the LAN system for Think Tank.
2 Requirement Analysis and Identification

or regulator type. To make sure if a normal user is accessing the system or a supervisor, the
system shall make use of the part processing to examine it for the endorsement and approval
type. For this reason of endorsement and approval with affirmation, it shall only give part
