INTRODUCTIONOrganization is a set of group of people who come together for a common purpose. Forattain appropriate goals every organization maintain their management and its various activitieswhich perform by group of people at workplace . In this organizational behaviour is an effectivestudy of persons behaviour which evaluate by the system of firm to manage all the humanactivities in effective manner. Without management of activities employees can not able toperform their task in effective way (Borkowski, 2015). Organizational behaviour is afundamental activity which evaluates the cultural impact, environment as well as performance ofworkers at workplace. It is an effective process to create efficient activities in organization.Present report is based on various organizational cultures that put its impact on the overallperformance activities. In this assignment, BBC uses various motivational theories to improvethe quality of performance and maintain better co-ordination among all workers. Along with this,concept and philosophies of organizational behaviour are also mentioned in this report.TASK 1a) Handy Cultural typologyEvery organization define their own culture and style of working which aid inunderstanding all the process in effective manner. It define the overall performance of thebusiness and employees. BBC adopt this type of concept in which they easily enhance theproductivity of the staff members. In this Handay's culture is related with the workingperformance of the company its divided in four parts which are as follows:Power culture: This culture is define the power which is give to the employees as pertheir capabilities and ability so that they perform their work in effective manner andmaintain positive culture of the business.Task culture: In this various people and the group develop their performance by usingtheir skills and capabilities which aid in achieving the target of the company. Task cultureis mainly aid in resolving all the conflicts and problems which is faced by the employeesat the time of performing their work. In this the BBC set their team as per the employeesinterest so that they easily attain the organizational goals and objectives.1

Person culture: It define the culture of the perform is totally different from each otherswhich aid in developing their performance by sharing ideas and opinion. The culture ofthe employees affect the goodwill of the company.Role culture: It is define by the company in which they use proper human resource andalso give some duties and responsibilities to the employees according to their capabilities.This aid in performing the task in effective manner and get positive results. It is related tothe employees capabilities in the company.BBC failed in communicating and managing activities as per the Smith culture review. Itdefine that company have to focus on their working environment so that they easilyaccomplished their target in effective manner. A case within the company which was relatedwith the Child abuses which do not eliminate by the management of the company. It negativelyimpact in the overall performance of the company. In context of BBC, it is biggest broadcastingchannel which face various miserable situation that negatively affect the overall performance ofthe company at market place.b) How culture, power and politics is influencing behaviour of BBCOrganizational culture is an effective system which include the beliefs, values andattitude that evaluate how human behave in the organization. Every organization set their culturewhich reflected by the dress code employee’s treatment as well as all the activities that performin business for a common purpose. In today's complex business environment, day to dayoperations and activities affected by the culture, policies and power of organizations. Tomaintain better relation between culture, policies and power organization do various process aswell as activities which aid in performing better at marketplace. It is an important responsibilityof organization to provide health and positive environment to their employees so that they alsoperform their work effectively. Organization power and policies; both affect the company’sperformance and also contribute in growth of the company at marketplace (Champoux, 2010).For attain success company cause power, culture and polices effectively because some time allthese factors impact negatively on business and some time is enhance the productivity.Organization's culture, policies and power:All these factors play a vital role in business organization because it evaluate the howemployees interact with others in organization that affect the whole performance of the business.2
