INTRODUCTION
Organisation behaviour concerned the behaviour of individual person and interaction of
people. It contains people's understanding and predict the human behaviour that helps to expand
business activities. Organisation is the collection of people who works at a work place in order to
achieve goals. The main purpose of this report is to define the importance of organisation
behaviour and maintain relationship among members of the organisation. Tesco plc has been
chosen to define the organisation behaviour and its impact on industry. It is multinational UK
based company that deals in groceries and common merchandise products. This report will
covered concept and theory of organisation behaviour, importance of specific recommendations
and plan of actions and personal skills depend on theory (Ackerley and Kavounoudias, 2015).

Concept and theory of organisation behaviour and its impact
Organisation behaviour is the study of human behaviour that defines how an enterprise
can expand its business with the help of human. It helps to know the behaviour and attitude of
person that shows how a person react in a critical situation. The concept involves basic
humanistic discipline relation between employee and employer. Tesco follows different types of
theory that relates to organisation behaviour such as-
Human relation behavioural theory: This means staff feels good when employer and
employee communicates to each other and helps to work collectively. This theory is based on
staff productivity and maintaining human relation that helps to create healthy environment.
Manager of Tesco used this theory in organisation and shares all problems which is arising
during business activity. By finding problems manager supports employees and make feel them
good by providing solution (Organisation behaviour theory. 2019).
Decision making behavioural theory: This theory is used by manager, supervisor and
employees who has authority to take effective decision at at work place. This theory helps to
make decision instantly by collecting information. Such as manager of Tesco used this theory
and give authority to employees to make decision for welfare of industry and increase
profitability.
Impact of organisation behaviour

Organisation behaviour impact on people, organisation structure, technology and
environment such as-
People: Organisation behaviour affect the people such as manager of Tesco study the
people's mind and get their needs and wants that creates relations between employer ans staff and
appraise them to work hard by filling employee's needs (Chausov and et.al., 2015).
Organisation Structure: This impacts such as Tesco hire new candidates, the way of
behaviour in which they behave is impacts on culture. The manager of Tesco encourages its staff
to speak and give suggestion without any fear that helps to increase confidence level and
company's culture.
Technology: This is most important factor which impact on organisation like as Tesco
has planning to introduce new technology that will helps to increase number of sale. For
adopting new technology employees should have knowledge and experience that make easy to
accept the challenges. For adopting technology and reducing the stress level of employees
manager should provide training that helps to accept new technology (Kang and Lee, 2017).

Suggestion to solve workplace problems by applying theories and concept
The business activities of any organisation is depend on employee's efforts who work
effectively in order to achieve enterprise's objectives and increase profitability. It has been
recommended that Tesco should apply Human relation theory to solve work place problems such
as miscommunication, not proper guidance, no motivation and work fear. By applying human
relation theory employees will be share their problems, and state that what facilities are required
to increase productivity. This theory also will helps to maintain relation between supervisor and
superiors of company (Luo, Huang and Brown, 2015). Moreover, by applying decision making
theory employees will feel more confident and valuable that will helps to make effective
decisions in organisation and will help to get solution problems that relates to workplace. Such as
employees are facing lack of resources that reduces its profits by applying decision making
theory employees will place order of resources and will continue to business activities (Murray
and et.al., 2015).
Different actions that helps to solve work place problems
 Identification of issues and problems.

 Need to understand employee's needs.
 Make list of possible solutions.
 Select the best options.
 Implementation.

Effective personal skills based on organisation behaviour theories
Tesco has required following personal skills that will help to run business at competitive
market and maintain profitability-
Responsibility: This states that employees should understand their responsibility and
need to perform best in order to accomplish task. Such as Tesco's employee are very responsible
who set their target to increse sale turn over and attain its objective by performing responsibility
(Rogers, 2015).
Flexibility: The manager and employees of Tesco both should be flexible who can adopt
challenges and new technology to increase the sale. If manager will be flexible employees will
work without any fear by making correct decision.
Proper communication: There should be a clear communication in Tesco's manager and
staff that will helps to solve enterprise's as well as employee's problems.
Team work: Tesco wants that its employees should have capacity and ability to work in
a team and achieve company's goals (Warren, Sulaiman and Jaafar, 2015).
Above mentioned I analysed that effective personal skills like responsibility,
communication, team work and flexibility are most important in any organisation such as if any
person wanted to work with others it need to talk with its superior that will helps to guide how to
work and will delegate the work among team and responsibility of work at work place.
Flexibility is also needed in any organisation that helps to work effectively and will produce
unified piece of work. By applying flexibility and skills employees can fix their job in particular
organisation (Effective personal skills. 2019.).
CONCLUSION
From above mentioned report it has been concluded that organisation behaviour is the
deep study of individual's behaviour that helps to understand what should do in order to maintain
productivity. This report also covered how behaviour impacts on people, organisation structure

and technology in order to complete task and achieve goals. Moreover this report covered
personal skills based on organisation behaviour theory that is used to solve workplace and helps
to work in other industry.
