 Organizational behaviour is the study of group and
individual performance in a firm.
 Presentation will describe the characteristics of different
organizational structure and further show the Importance of
organizational culture theory

Describing the characteristics of different
organizational structure
Virtual Organization:
 it is the network of independent firm which joint together in order to
provide best quality of product and service.
 Further, the partners of virtual organization also share the risk, cost and
reward in chase of global market.
 It also represent the structure which are motivated by the specific
market opportunities and they have the ability to create the synergies
among functions.
 Therefore, it also help a firm to use innovative management practice and
develop virtual team with virtual leaders as well.

Line and Staff Organizational Structure:
 If the firm follow this structure then they have direct, vertical
relationship between different level and also specialist are responsible
for advising as well as helping line manager.
 Thus, the organization have both line as well as staff department in
which the staff department provide line people advice in specialized
areas such as quality control advising etc.
 Moreover, this type of structure creates better interaction between the
committee members and also leads to better coordination and even a
better group discussion also leads to creative thinking.

Importance of organizational
culture theory
 Culture plays a crucial role in the organization and by using Handy's
culture theory, the importance can be understood.
 The theory is based upon four culture such as:
Power:
 The organization who follow power culture, then the power is held by
just few individuals and even the employees are also judged what they
attain rather than how they do.
 In this, the employees are also expected to take their own responsibility
and identify the task.
 This shows that employees are affected in positive manner such that
they are happy and satisfied with the working condition.

 In This type of culture, employees are highly controlled with everyone
and they also know about their own roles and responsibility.
 That is why, HSBC Bank also follow this type of working culture
because it offers security and opportunities in order to acquire specialist
expertise.
 Even employees also know their own roles and responsibility that
helps employees to be happy and comfortable in it.

 In this culture, team are form to attain the specific objective and the
culture is consider quite effective and dynamic.
 In the same way, this culture is followed by quoted firm in order to
produce results.
 But this is not followed by firm because after completing the work, the
team is dismantled and the mutual interaction also diminishes.
Person:
 it is consider an unusual culture and even individual feel themselves as
unique and superior.
 Further, they work for themselves only rather than for company's
welfare.
 That is why, this type of culture is not used or adopted by the firm
because it creates negative impact upon the firm.

Conclusion
 By summing up above it has been concluded that organization culture
affect the HSBC bank.
 Further it has been concluded that the quote firm follows Role and task
culture in order to attain the business goals and objectives.
