Introduction
Organisational leadership is the management approach in which leaders of the company
help to set a strategic goal for an organisation while motivating individuals within the group to
successfully carry out assignments to achieve set goals and objectives.
This report will cover leadership of the Steve Rowe Who appointed as CEO of Marks and
Spencer in year 2016. This report will identify how CEO of this company use their leadership
and management style to make this company successful. it will also discuss about the role and

Steve is the new boss of the Marks & Spencer Is having a around 26 years of experience
of working with the company. Steve has made his name as the head of its highly successful food
divisions. The CEO of Marks & Spencer use Democratic management style that helps to
engage employees and create I still can able to create a good attachment with employees who are
working within their organisation (Crawford, James and Oplatka., 2017). In a Democratic
leadership style latest focus to create a good relationship with the employees by inviting them to
participate in decision making of the company and they also give hire rose to the lower level
employees to motivate them effectively. Steve regularly communicate with their employees and
ask them the problem they are facing at their workplace. The current CEO make it more easy to
connect with the employees becausr he have work on the all the level within the organisation.

functions within the organisation effectively. they have to make sure the output is delivered in a
effective way an a proper time. Steve is responsible to manage the food Department where they
see how food within the stores of Marks & Spencer are managed and deliver.

Steve his responsible too create a flow of communication within the organisation. for that
they have implemented simple organisational structure that enable the flow of communication
within the workplace and Steve know that communication is useful to make company successful
(Ruben, and Gigliotti., 2017). it also useful for the employees on the lower level because they
can send their Message Top management through the communication structure.

CEO of the Marks & Spencer in short that there is a system in place for ensuring that
people are appointed to appropriate position within the workplace of company. First, that
capability must be properly matched to the complexity of work off the position. Secondly, Steve
ensure that the skill and knowledge match according to the position employees hold. It It helps to
manage the talent within the organisation and company can grow their business and take
competitive advantages within the market where they are operating their business.
