INTRODUCTION
The term organisational theory refers to the core principles that are responsible to run the
business in an organisation. These are basically the concepts that enables the management of the
company to work in an efficient manner. This provides a detailed study about the working of the
employees and the employers in the company. It also provides the way to develop and grow the

business of the company(Anderman, 2020). Moreover, the organisational theory aids the
company to expand in this competitive market. Here the chosen company is Aston Martin and
the headquarter of this firm is located in United Kingdom. This organization is highly popular for
manufacturing and delivering best quality vehicles according to users wants and desires. The
report will be covered analysis of organization culture and structure of selected organization, are
the employees of the organization motivated adequately for achieving the organizational goals. It
further covers evaluate the organization is performing well or not because that they are
undertaking.

Organizational structure
The term organisational structure means the way through which the management
functions like supervision, allocation of task to the employees, coordination,etc. in order to
accomplish the organisational goals of the company. Moreover, the structure of the organisation
also provides for the processes related to the operations that are to be held in the
company(Gunasekaran, et.al, 2018).
The several types of organisational structure is discussed below-
Hierarchical organization structure – There is the chart that provides for the hierarchy
of the levels in an organisation. This chart is used by the Aston Martin in order to manage
its activities in an efficient manner. Moreover, the hierarchy goes from the top level to
the lower level. Moreover, under this each employee is headed by the supervisor in the
company.
Matrix organizational structure – It is also the one type of organizational structure and
it is defined as the combination various structure. The main advantage of this structure is
that here employees get high flexibility regarding their job roles and responsibilities. Due
to receiving flexibility in their work and time workers are able to put their full effort,
contribution and passion in their task which leads to enhance the productivity of Aston
Martin at higher rate (Hussain and Mubarak, 2021).

Flat organizational structure – The another name for the flat structure is the horizontal
organizational structure. moreover, the structure fits into the firm along with the several
level between the lower and the upper level of employees. Further more, during this time
there is the start up of numerous types of organization. These horizontal organization
structure works with the help of several departments. But, there are some institutions that
maintains this following structure. Further more, it also promotes less management and
also involvement to greater level of all the employees.
Recommendation -
From the analysis of above organizational structure it concludes that Matrix
organizationals structure is followed by Aston Martin. Because with help of this structure top
level management is able to maintain friendly relations with their employees in long term. Due to
keeping positive relations company easily identified the strength and weakness of employees
quickly. Due to the effective use of this organizational structure organization easily run their
whole activities smoothly.
Organizational culture
A structure culture is essentially refers to the affirmative behaviour or optimistic work
culture that is to be retained by the higher regimes at workplace area. Moreover, because of
compliance of good demeanour with the other workers, the gross productivity and execution of
the firm can be highly inflated within the short duration of time. The structure consists of shared
believes and values that is to be implanted by the leadership role and it must be then
communicated and strengthen through various types of performing methods in the
company(Larson and Foropon, 2018).
Charles handy model of organisational culture is essentially a model that is utilized by
the administration in order to sustain its vision, aims and the objectives under a long period of
time. Moreover, by the help of this model structure, it encourages the employees with several
ways that is explained as follows-
Power – There are several kinds of organisation under which the powers are stays in
hands of the some people that comes under the category of the high level of management.
Moreover, those who are capable to utilize the special exclusive right at the work. These
kind of people shows a critical role at the work area in view to enhance the motivation of
the employees. It is also used for fetching away the correct decisions in business action.
