Organisation structure is an essential part of business, or foundation of the
business.
This structure define the position of a company, that where they stand in the
market.
It bring together the resources and individuals for the purpose of produces the
services and earn profits and reputation in the corporate world.
It is exists about to create value of the business.
Organisational Behaviour is the study of the employee's who work in the
organisation and about their activities.
It is the study of the attitude of employees, how they interact with in the
organisation, their behaviour about the work and work place.

The present report about two companies that are City College and Enterprise
Rent-A-Car, City College is part of City group plc.
And this are no longer a small unit and head to the big organisation with
dedicated working departments.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car provides high levels of customer services with a belief “
Take care of customers and employees first and profits will follow”.

Organisational culture is a study of sharing values and beliefs which extracts from the
people who works in the organisations.
The values related with the act and performance given by the employees. Every
organisation have its structure and culture.
According to Robbins and Alexandra “organizational structures are the functional
activities and working process of an organization.
On the other hand organizational culture refers to different beliefs, values, norms used
by the member of the organization”.
The culture of an organisation decides the way employees behave in the organisation
and their behaviour towards the work.

In the present report one of the two companies is an educational institutional,
City College.
Organizations, that following academy culture concerned well skilled people.
Their roles and responsibilities are according to the educational backgrounds
and qualification and work experience of the employees.
Organizations that following academy culture provide specific training the
existing employees according to the work, ensuring that various training
programmes are being conducted at the workplace to improve the skills of the
employees.
The management makes efforts to upgrade the knowledge of the employees to
improve their professional skills.
The employees in an academy culture stick to the organization for a longer
duration and also grow within it. In this culture Educational institutions,
universities, hospitals are include.

Pragmatic CulturePragmatic Culture
In this report Enterprise Rent-A-Car can can adopt this culture because this
culture is totally focused on the clients.
The organisation which has opt this culture are more emphasis on the
customers. pragmatic culture is basically focuses on the external factors those
which affects the business.
Customer satisfaction is the main motive of the employees in a pragmatic
culture.
Organisations which follows this culture they takes their clients first, as the
Enterprise Rent-A-Car's employees whether they are in the office or in the field
they directly interact with clients for the services so company's image at that
time in their hands and they work accordingly. In this business every employee
gives their contribution to provide satisfied services to the consumers.

Organisational structure depends on the size of the business, it determines
the role, responsibilities,tasks that are assigned to the employees.
A company have to composed and place all the units in different ways
according to their demand in the organisation to frame a structure.
According to Fontaine organisational structure is "Appropriate organizational
structure depends upon the unique strategy of the business, its unique
customer base, its unique sense of products and services and its
management of these considerations as they are dispersed throughout the
enterprise".

authority with the control of management and that person who supervise the
task or particular department.

wide span of control.
There are teams which perform the given task and works under one manager
or leader. Communication coordination are the essential things in this type of
structural organisations.
The given company Enterprise Rent-A-Car can adopt these type of structure
because their business in client oriented business and to coordinate and
communicate with each other or with clients is needed.

Functional Structures- The most common type of structure implemented in
companies. It is an effective but simple in style.
Divisional Structures- This type of structure does not believe in formed the
employees into small units but they distributes them across the organisation
where they might be needed.
Matrix Structures- In this structure team or department brought together for a
particular project. Team are not permanent in this structure.

The effect of the relationship of organisation's structure and culture- According
to an author “Organizational culture in some way defines the organizational
structure of an organization but the structure also partially defines the culture
of an organization”.
So that the structure is a framework for the culture which is to be
implemented, while the culture defines how the company should be structured.
No matter how the size of a company, if its culture starts to change, it is only a
matter of time till the structure also follows.

work place. This factors help the organisation in their performance growth.

Technology- This is the strongest factors that influence employee's behaviour
at work.
The innovation of different technological equipment, people faced lots of
troubles in their working place.
Information development in technologies and advancement of internet makes
working much easier because before this time people worked everything with
in written formats by their own.
Now these day everything is depends on internet and computer.

Safety at work- safety measurement is a way to provide employee the satisfaction of
security because employee always wants safety in their working place.
Workplace safety atmosphere improves the skills and worker can give proper
attention to their work.
Wealth and authority- After getting proper power and sufficient financial support
employees develop their potentiality.
By providing bonus and other compensation company can increase the feeling of
security that could rise the profitability in work.

Importance of the work- If a workers understands the importance of their
post and meaningfulness of the work than they gets more enthusiasm to do
that and this is also beneficial to the company.
