Organization culture, politics and power influence on the individual and team behavior and
performance
According to scenario of Future Sdn. Bhd it has been examined that the two individuals in the
workplace created the strong culture but due to this there are many employees in the workplace
who lost motivation towards the work. It can be said that culture, power and politics influence
the performance of the team. It is important that organizational culture, politics and power should
be maintained in the workplace as it assists in managing the performance of the workers. 3The
authority of the company should ensure that the culture of the company is positive as it will help
in improving employee’s performance. The culture of the company relates with the corporate
culture in which the emphasis is on the shared beliefs and practices of the organization
(Wlodkowski & Ginsberg, 2017).
The positive culture of the company is also aligned with the mission of the company. The culture
of the company has a direct effect on the performance as it has been examined that it influences
the working structure of workers. In company, workers should be free to consider the opinions
with higher authority as it helps them to bring improvisation in the assigned task. To build the
positive culture in the workplace, the leaders should implement the plans to attain it. The culture
of the company can be maintained when the review of the human resource policy is done on the
regularly basis (Apetrei, Kureshi & Horodnic, 2015).
In relation to the Future company issue, it has been said that the focus should be given on
reviewing the policy of the human resource so that it could be easy to retain workers towards the
activities. The employees who are joining other companies are mainly due to the culture of the
company. So, to improve the culture it is important to bring changes in the human resource
policy so that positive outcome can be attained. It can also be stated that if in the company there
is positive culture then it create positivity among workers (Rofcanin, Las Heras & Bakker,
2017).
In relation to politics and power, it has been evaluated that it has a direct impact on individual
and team behavior and performance. It is necessary for higher authority to emphasize on
stabilizing politics and power in the workplace so that employees can feel comfortable at the
time of controlling the operations. The higher authority should focus on considering the reward

power as this influences the behavior of the individual’s and it has been that it also influences the
behavior of the employees when they will earn incentives. The higher authority should focus on
rewarding and promotions as it assist in enhancing the motivation of workers and also create
positive reinforcement for the overall behavior. The performance reviews and administration will
help to focus on offering the reward power in the business. If there is high level of politics in the
workplace then it can affect the employees as politics relates to the negativity that takes place
among the employees. It is important to control politics so that it would be easy to maintain the
long time relations and also it will boost the retention rate of the employees in the workplace.
The power should be exercised by the management but it should be according to the employees
as it is analyzed that if high level of power is exercised then it can create difficulty for the
employees to give their best towards the organizational activities (Tian, Deng, Zhang &
Salmador, 2018).
Content and process theories of motivation that helps to achieve goals
Motivation has a significant role in boosting the workers performance. If the workers are
motivated towards the assigned work then it would be easy to accomplish the set goals and
objectives. In relation to Future Sdn. Bhd Company, it is necessary for the top authority to
enhance the motivational level of workers so that they can retain themselves towards the
assigned work of the organization. Motivation among the workers has an essential role in
creating interest towards the organizational operations (Herzberg, 2017).
Higher authorities should emphasize on attaining the techniques and tools so that that will help in
attaining the targets of the company. The different motivational theories are Maslow hierarchy of
needs and Herzberg theory of motivation and these are called content theories of motivation. The
process theory of motivation is Adam’s equity theory and Locke’s goal setting theory. These are
considered as the important motivational theories that assist in attaining the goals of the company
(Harrigan & Commons, 2015).
The management of the company should focus on Maslow hierarchy of needs as this theory
focuses on satisfying the requirements of the workers. If this theory is considered then it would
be easy to enhance the motivation of the workers in relation to the assigned work. In this model,
there are five stages such as psychological need, safety needs, love and belongingness needs,
