This research aims to explore the impact of organizational culture on the performance of business organizations and employee engagement. The research will discuss the different types of cultural initiatives and strategies that can be implemented to improve organizational performance. The research will use a deductive research approach and a descriptive research design. The survey research strategy will be used to collect data from a small sample size of workers and managers. The research will highlight the importance of culture in business organizations.

Introduction
The following research will be verifying on the fact about the implementation of the right
culture in the business organization which can lead to the improvement of the organizational
performance and will also see a better engagement of the workers in the organization. The
research will highlight the different reasons behind the increase of the employee engagement and
the role that the presence of a positive culture plays in the business organization.
Background of the Study
A strong and effective culture is a corporate asset that cannot be replicated or copied by
the competitors of the business. Team culture is such a thing that it can never be purchased or
created by applying scientific methods. Therefore the presence of the organizational culture in
the business leads to the increase in the organizational performance of the business organization.
A strong and effective culture is often referred to as a competitive advantage for the business as
because the strong culture helps in the development of a long term competitive strategy and
helps to attain business success. The rise of the constructive culture raises the levels of member
cooperation within the organizational units or levels of coordination between those units. The
research will be addressing the different types of the organizational initiatives to implement
culture and how such cultural initiatives play a crucial role in the increase in the business
performance.
Aims of the Research
The aim of the research is to whether the presence of the right culture in the organization
will lead to its better performance and as such will lead to the engagement of the employees in
the organization and also the increase in the performance of the following business organization.

Objectives of the Research
The aims of the research will be achieved by means of the implementation of a certain set
of effective objectives. They are as follows;
a. To identify the right type of culture for the business organization
b. To identify the ways in which the organization employs the culture in the business
c. To identify the ways in which the organization increases their productivity over a certain
period of time
Research Scope
The research will discuss on the cultural values, employee engagement and the increase
in the organizational performance of the business organizations. The involvement of these
important factors and the common links that these elements share itself provides a much greater
scope to the Research.
Research Questions
The Research Question that will be formulated over the research is;
1. How can engaged culture affect the performance of a service organization positively?
Problem Statement
The problem that lies over the following topic is the identification and the
implementation of the proper culture that will help in the improvement of the organizational
performance. The research will aim to get an idea of the different types of the related ways and
processes along with the main types of strategies that are implemented accordingly to make the
most of the business.

The hypothesis of the research will be as follows;
H0- An engaged Services-led organization will have impact on the performance of the
organization and also the performance of the employees
H1- An engaged Services-led organization will not have any impact upon the performance of the
organization and the performance of the employees

Culture and its positive Impact
Culture is one of the most important considerations in the business organization. The
presence of a proper and efficient culture in the business will help the organization to perform at
its very best. This is done basically to enable the formation of a strong and able team that can
combine together to achieve great results for the organization. Such a performance can also help
to ensure the best performance of the different people in the company. The performance of the
business organization in the market helps to improve the performance of the employees of the
organization. The culture of the company can be described as the brand or personality of the
organization. The better the personality the better will be its performance in the market. The
culture of the company has everything to do with how the employees, perspective employees,
customers and the public percieveness of the organizations in the market. There is a positive
impact of the following activity on the performance of the organization as well as the employees.
This includes;

1. Impact on the employee Performance- The presence of a strong internal culture helps
the employees of the organization to feel extremely valued and respected in the
organization. Employees who will feel valued will have much greater motivation to work
for the organization. The presence of strong company cultures presents the employees
with the much needed opportunities to grow. The promotional opportunities, career
development programs and other such opportunities in the organization helps the
employees to stay motivated and make the right selection.
2. Impact on the happiness of the employees- The change in the recession market and the
increase in the job opportunities is a great source of motivation for the employees.
However a positive company culture can ensure the satisfaction of the employees in the
business and can also ensure their loyalty towards the business.
3. Culture of the company being more important- The competitive business environment
had made it important for the managements to implement the necessary steps to ensure
the survival in the market. The presence of a positive and efficient culture is the key to
the success of the business organization in the market.
Research Methodology
Introduction
The nature of the research will be one of the most important elements in the process of
the development of the particular research methodology. It will also help in the decision on the
strategy of a particular research. The research methodology will be consisting of a number of
different methodological tools that will be used by the researcher to complete the research using
the most appropriate methods. Apart from this the use of the particular research phenomenon

will help to construct the different research methodological tools like the design of the research,
the approach to the research, the data collection techniques and the analysis of the data collected
for the research.
Research Approach
The two main kinds of research approach are namely Inductive Research Approach and
Deductive research approach. Either of these two approaches can be considered by the
formulator of the research to construct the following research. The deductive research approach
is helpful for the research as it will help to formulate the hypothesis of the research based on the
previous theories and frameworks on culture in business organizations and its impact on the
performance of the business and the employees of the business organization. The deductive data
also helps to convert the general data into a specific form of data that will be related to the
current topic selected. This will also help the researcher to select the research questions and
construct the hypothesis of the research. The deductive approach will also be preferred for its
ability to go along well with the positivism research philosophy. On the other hand the inductive
policy is totally based on the construction and implementation of new concepts and theories
based on the observations of the cultural adaptations by the management of the business
organizations. This will enable the research to shift the concentration from the research questions
to the different types of observations as well as to analyze the situation from the description.
Justification of Research Approach
In the case of this particular research, it will be using the deductive research approach.
The deductive research approach generally goes well with the positivism research philosophy.
The use of the particular approach will also be helpful for the researcher to test the formulated
hypothesis on whether the application of a proper cultural strategy will help in the increase in the

performance of the organization as well as the employees. The use of the previously existing
models and theories helps to make the positive effects in the business and make the employees
more motivated towards the business organization. In this particular case the researcher has been
able to gather data from the previously existing theories and models on culture and
organizational performances along with the performances of the employees. The general data
acquired in regards to the topic of the research requires a thorough analysis from the statistical
perspective of the business. This will be possible by the use of the deductive approach of the
business. On the other hand, the use of the inductive approach for this particular case will not be
applicable as it will not be possible to develop new research theories and models within a short
time. It would also have been difficult to test the hypothesis by using the inductive approach.
Research Design
The three most commonly used research design are mainly exploratory, explanatory and
descriptive type of research design. An explanatory research design can be generally defined as
the research design that gives the opportunity to the researcher for the explanation of the reasons
for a particular happening. Apart from this, the explanatory research design will be helping the
research to explain the reasons for the different kinds of phenomenon. It also helps in the
explanation of the future occurrences of the phenomenon that will be useful in terms of the
particular research topic. On the other hand the exploratory research design helps in the
formulation and the analysis of the research hypothesis, research objectives and the research
questions. Apart from this the research design also helps in the clarification of the different kinds
of topics and the concepts in the terms of the particular research topic. The descriptive research
design is a type of design that helps in the combination of both the exploratory and the
explanatory research designs. The descriptive research design emphasizes mainly on the

collection of the data. Due to the dual characteristics of descriptive research design, it is the most
widely used research design by the researchers while conducting a research.
Justification of Research Design
The research on the implementation of the particular kind of culture in the business
organizations will implement the use of the descriptive research design which will be providing
the researcher the scope to formulate the hypothesis of the research accordingly. It will also help
in the construction of the topic of the research. The use of the particular research design will help
the formulator of the research to develop a thorough understanding of the effect and cause
relationship of culture and the employee performance and also the research rationale that will
help in the prediction of the future occurrences. The use of the other two research designs will
limit the research to predict the future happenings in one time. It will also help the researcher to
gain a good thought of the challenges that will be encountered to improve both the organizational
and the operational performances of the Company as well as the organization. Therefore the
descriptive research design clearly suits the needs of the research.
Research Strategy
The four most widely used research strategies are namely research, survey, interview and
case study. The different such strategies have their different uses. The case study research
highlights the study of the real life factors that are involved in the case. This is generally
performed by the evaluation of the different types of the factors involved with the case. The
secondary research sources are used in this research to identify the factors involved. This helps in
the analysis and understanding of the behaviors of the different individuals involved in the
research. On the other hand the action research will be based mainly on the deals involved in the
issues. Solutions are provided and implemented accordingly in the case of the identified

research. On the other hand the interview and survey methods are undertaken by means of the
collection of raw data in terms of the research topic. The interview refers to the collection of data
that will be related to the culture of the company and the management of the employees
according to the culture. The survey deals with the when and how of the research topic.
Justification for selecting survey research strategy
The researcher will be selecting the survey research strategy to complete the following
research. The selection of the particular research strategy will be helping the collection of the
different types of the data regarding the cultural factors involved in the organization. The survey
will also help the researcher to gather and collect data related to the organizational perspectives.
Sampling Method
The conduction of a survey and interview will involve the researcher to select a particular
research strategy. The non-probability and the probability sampling techniques are generally
used for different kinds of samplings in researches. The samples will be assembled using a
selected range of population, age, gender and the consideration of other factors. Unlike the
probability sampling techniques where the participant are provided equal chances, the non-
probability sampling techniques does not provide people with equal chances.
Justification of Sampling Method
The researcher will be using the systematic probability sampling technique to deduce the
results of the research. This helps to understand the cultural impact on the performance of the
organization in the industries the researcher will have to get an idea of the workers and the
managerial viewpoint. The researcher can also avoid bias in the research by using the systematic
sampling probability processes.

A small sample size of 50 persons will be selected. The main selection will be of the
workers of the different organizations and the managers of the same organizations.
Justification of Sample Size Selection
The selection of such a small sample size is mainly due to the absence of adequate time
and the availability of adequate finance for the conduction of the particular research.
Data Collection Process
The main kinds of data collection techniques while the conduction of the research are
namely the primary and the secondary data collection processes. Secondary research data are
collected from the books, journals, online sources, other researches on the same field, different
articles, periodical journals and articles and many more as such. The use of the secondary data
helps to gain a better and deep understanding of the research topic and the elements related to the
topic. The use of the secondary resources allows the formulator of the research to create a strong
sense of understanding on the research topic. Primary data collection is another kind of process
where the research takes the help of live participants as the sources of data collection. The use of
the quantitative data collection techniques will include the use of the interview and the
conduction of a survey.
Justification of Data Collection Process
The research will concentrate in the use both primary as well as secondary data collection
techniques. The formulation of the literature review will involve the use of the secondary data
collection technique. The researcher will also be using different books, articles, journals,
researches, online sources on whether cultural context in an organization helps to improve the

selected research participants. The participants will be provided open ended as well as close
ended questions.
Data Analysis Technique
The data that will be connected from the different kind of sources will be analyzed to
prove the null hypothesis or the particular opposite hypothesis that will be formulated. The data
that will be collected on the basis of the following topic will be used for different statistical
analysis like data tables, charts and statistical figures. At different cases, the data analysis using
tables, bar charts can be inaccurate. Thus the discussions of the results may be inaccurate in
nature. Therefore statistical analysis of the data is highly recommended for the same.
Justification of selecting Data Analysis Technique
In the case of the current research the research will involve the use of the SPSS method
for the analysis of the collected data. SPSS is a statistical software tool that will be used to
determine the statistics and discussions regarding the variables of the survey. The responses
collected during the survey will be analyzed using cross tabulation and pie charts, graphs,
statistical tables will be incorporated for the same.

The presence of ethics while the conduction of the research helps in its smooth
performance. The first and foremost thing in ethics will be to ensure the presence of honesty and
integrity in the research. This can be maintained by ensuring the safety and security of the
research participants as well as maintaining the privacy of the responses submitted by the
research participants. Apart from this the researcher must carry out the research on his own and
must not copy some other works to formulate his own research.
