INTRODUCTIONPersonal and professional development are defined as effective methods which helpsperson to learn new things and increase knowledge of workers in order to achieve good andeffective results. This results in achievement of goals and objectives in defines ways. Mangersshould adopt measures to monitor performances of their employees because it helps in analysingthose areas where improvement is needed in order to gain effective output and fulfilment of allassigned targets (Avalos, 2011). Defined business objectives can only be achieved if plans andstrategies are made to enhance skills of workers. This report is based on different learning stylesand approaches to self managed learning which are beneficial in personal and professional areas.Responsibilities of individuals in personal and professional process, Implement and review planslinked with personal development.TASK 11.1 Formulating self managed learning and different learning stylesSelf managed learning are related with identification of various factors which are usefulfor persons to increase present knowledge level of employees in relation to achieve businessgoals and objectives in defined and appropriate ways. Thus learning styles are effective inachievement of all aims and objectives and evaluation of main function in relation to selfmanaged styles.Several approaches which are related with self managed learning styles are evaluated as:Seminars and conferences: It is the most vital approach of self managed learning styles.It helps in improving present knowledge level and skills of workers by organising variousseminars & workshop programmes at working areas. This is most effective ways adopted byfirms as individuals are given chance to share their experience among group of customers andfind ways in order to resolve the problems if they are facing. It helps individual to gain selfconfidence, increasing current knowledge level of workers and ability to listen to people withconfidence. Thus communications will be effectively improved. If individuals gain confidence tospeak in public then they will improve their presentation skills which are motivating factors forother employees (Beach, 2012).Research: This is an important aspect which are related with self managed acquisition. Itis very useful for employees as they can show their presence in research activities which helps inincreasing knowledge level of workers. Persons gain confidence to handle all difficult situations1

and challenges by finding out effective ways in order to solve the problem and generation ofhealthy working surroundings. Thus performance of all individuals can be increased.Internet: It helps in outsourcing of message so that employees can increase their presentknowledge level by learning from different website. This include networking sites like Google,Yahoo, Twitter etc. They contains information on different subjects and individuals can learnand study from these sites when are not able to understand anything related to study. Thusinternet also helps in various type of self managing activities.Various learning styles Different types of learning styles which are given by David Kolb are described as:Diverging learning styles: This style is useful in order to make person pay attention ondifferent task which are helpful in learning and observing their reactions with full attention ratherthen performing all acts in real life ventures. Thus skills of individual can be developed and theycan become creative and artistic in their working. This helps in rising knowledge of workers.Assimilating learning style: The persons who are followers of this theory in their reallife are focused on adopting various logical formulas and tactics in order to solve problems easilyand enhance knowledge level (Busse, Aboneh and Tefera, 2014). This is beneficial inmanagement of self learning styles and achievement of goals and objectives. Converging learning style: All individuals who wants to apply their learning in real lifesituations are mostly using this learning style. They have enhanced their present skills thus allactivities are performed in desired ways. This results in adoption of self managed acquisition ofknowledge.The approaches which are explained above are useful in management of self learningprogramme.
