INTRODUCTIONPersonal and professional development is related to the individual growth anddevelopment. In the health care industry, it is important for every employee to deliver care topeople who are suffering mental and physical issue.The present report is based on health and social care of Apex Ward which is UKorganisation and it is providing treatment to the patient. The present report is based on thepersonal and professional development of health and social care organisation employees andworker. In addition to this, how they improve their personality and professionalism ha been alsodiscussed in this report. (Munn-Giddings and winter, 2013). Further, the report discusses aboutlearning styles which can enhance skills of subordinates of Apex Ward and it also emphasizes onpersonal contribution of trainer to improve the potential of nursing staff.TASK 11.1The concepts like range which are choice, independence, individuality, dignity andrespect are also included in the value. Further, it differs from person to person on the basis ofreligion ethnicity and nationality. Apex ward have many staff to deliver treatment to people whoare suffering from poor health. Due to difference in personal value of employees, it createsbarrier at the workplace at the time of providing treatment to the sick people. The major role ofthe trainer is to manage personal values of each and every workers of the company andcoordinate with differing attitude. For example, appoint a male nurse to care Muslim and Jewpatient who are getting surgery at hospital because their religion beliefs. So it is crucial for themanager and trainer to design a suitable program to give them essential tips to behave withspecific religion patients to care of sick people. It helps them to provide better services to thepatients. Different thinking and attitude of staff helps to cooperate the treatment way to patient.At the workplace, sometime employees face discrimination regarding diversity and sometimesthey are abused by others workers. In the western country, there Muslim and Jews employeesface unfavourable treatment at the workplace. It is essential to provide equal opportunity to allhuman resource of the company. organisation assist in increasing their potential to perform their role with high efficiency.Personal value affects the mindset of patient. Same nationality and race employees understandtheir views and culture and they can easily develop smooth relationship by effectivecommunication. Personal value and principle refer to those attributes through which serviceprovider provides rights and protection to the patients. Being a service provider in the health andcare organisation, my personal values which are as follows-Confidentiality- My personal value is maintaining confidentiality in the. By this principle, I donot have right to share personal information of client with anyone for other purpose. I cannotshare patient personal data without their permission. For example- If any group of theorganisation required some personal information and data of patients in order to analyse thesituation of hospital. As per this value, I can not disclose any personal information of anypatient without their permission.Equal rights- As per this personal value, I treat all service users in an equal manner. I do notdiscriminate with any employees on the basis of culture, region, age, gender, occupation etc. Forexample, in the health and care organisation, there are Indian and UK clients. Being a serviceprovider, I always treat person equally. There should not be any kind of discrimination inproviding health care services and treatment to them.Diversity - Diversification in different state of mind such as diversification in culture, relief,belief etc. may also affect the personal value and principles which support the working in healthand social care.1.2Culture is related with language, religion, nation and ethnicity. It can differ from personto person on the basis of other individual value. The role of culture is very crucial in health andsocial care service. In the present scenario, Apex Ward has many employees and their ethnicity,education, beliefs and knowledge differ from other co-workers. In the organisation, if there is appropriate culture then patients can feel safe and secure andalso are able to share their feeling and issues with health care experts. Culture plays a verycrucial role to render high quality of care services to their patients. Effective culture also assistsin maintaining effective and healthy relationship between services providers and patients. On theother hand, experience also plays a crucial role to make health and social care organisation
