INTRODUCTIONPersonal and Professional development is very essential for a person or individual to gainsuccess in career or life. It refers to the overall development of an individual which is achievedthrough continues learning (Busse, Aboneh and Tefera, 2014). The present report is in context toprinciples and values for working in a health & social care organisation. The report willdetermine comparison between personal values and principles with values of support to work inhealth and social care sector. It will also include the ways in which changes within personalvalues affect the work within health and social care settings. A holistic development plan will bealso included in the report to determine short, medium and long term goals. Furthermore, thereport will identify different professional relationships in context to health and social care alongwith the impacts of limits related to own work role on work with others. TASK-1 1.1 Personal values and principles drives and individual's highest priority and force whichdrives him or her. The personal principles are based on individual perceptions, opinions,thoughts, goals and aim of life (Redmond, 2017). When a person becomes a part of anorganisation he or she brings those values and beliefs within the organisation. In environment ofbusiness or organisation these principles or values blend with those of other employees withinthe company that assist in developing a family culture within the business. This culture withinthe organisation or business becomes a personality of the business. Some personal workprinciples and value of an employee or worker includes recognition, security, independence,leadership and work mastery. Health and social care workplace is a platform where almost everyaspects of an employee depends upon principles and values. Each and every healthcare employeeneeds to understand the necessity of these principles within a workplace. There are variouspersonal principles such as polite behaviour, honesty, dignity of a person, religion, tradition,courage, justice, freedom etc (Fanning, 2017). On the other hand there are several principlesrelated to the health and social care settings which includes working principles or valuedeveloped with the help of team work, competitiveness, dedication, effective communicationreliability, ethics and professionalism. In context to the principles of health and social caresettings it is important that an individual must treat each and every individual equally and shouldprovide fair and proper treatment to the people working in an organisation.
