INTRODUCTION
Personal and professional development is an important activity by which a person
improve his/her skills and knowledge. This concept not only contributes in individual’s growth
but also improves their efficiency of the work It is an important process for every type of

from them. In this, company organizes various programs in which they easily improve their
employee’s skills and knowledge (Personal and professional development, 2017). It helps in
achieving the overall goals and objectives of company in an appropriate manner. Present report
is based on health and social care in which various things are defined This project also define
personal and professional development in which an individual can develop their skills and define
the culture of the society. In this various applications also include in this project which helps in
resolve all the issues. Along with this various tools and techniques also mentioned in this project
in context of health and social care.

Personal values of an individuals define the principles, ideas and beliefs which is more
important for the person life's. In this the values also related to the standard of the perform and
its life. Because the standard of the person increase skills and knowledge in appropriate manner.
All these aspects are more important in the person's life so that it is also essential to determine
the personal values and beliefs because all these are affect on the person life style and their

of this I do not able to take risk and find any
kind of solution. So that knowledge is my first

Every individuals have their own culture which define ideas and perception that helps in
developing the particular behaviour of the person. It also impact on working style of the
individuals so that it is more important for the person to analysis them effectively. In health and
social care I found that patients faced conflicts and problems which is related to the personal
culture then I tries to resolve effectively by defining new and effective ideas. In this I have my
own culture and beliefs which also affect my own working style in health and social care
organization. My best quality as well as positive aspect is my attitude, in which I can easily
handle all type of users at the same time which belongs to different culture. So that I also
improve my knowledge regarding the various culture and beliefs (Coventry, Maslin‐Prothero
and Smith, 2015). As a worker in health and social care, I always take care of all the patients so
that they feel like they are valuable for them. With the help of my experience I easily improve
my skills and knowledge and also able to provide quality service to the users. I also give the
priority to the ritual which aid in motivating other person and also follow the effective way in
which I define the target people. With the help of this I easily provide better services and
maintain the effective balance in all the ritual of the person (Ferlie and et. al., 2013). As a leader
I always make a better culture in health ad social care company which aid in providing the better
customers services in appropriate manner which contribute in overall success of the company.

In health and social care various development are there which aid in providing better
services to the patients in appropriate manner. In this the changes are more important because
define new and effective aspects which aid in taking better decision in the organization. Any
change in behaviour, value, beliefs and technologies directly impact of the working performance
of the individual. It also helps in increase the overall experience in effective manner. It is
important for the person to take and accept the change so that they learn new and innovative
things in order to refining their skills and knowledge. Development and change in personal
attitude and values also contribute in providing quality services to the patients which aid in
improve their health. With the help of this all the workforce able to take risk and also find out the
better solution to maintain the ethical work environment which aid in protecting the customers
services and also deliver the valuable and better treatment. In this the health and social care also
include various act like protection act, equality act, and many more which helps in improving the
overall performance of the company and its workforce so that they easily develop their
experience in effective manner. Along with this, the primary legislation is also helps in
influencing the legal activities and duties and in this the secondary legislation is also define their
impact on business at the time of execution of all the critical process (Ledlow, G. J. R. and
Stephens, J. H., 2017). All the act and legislation make the ethical work environment in which all
the employees provide better service to their users and get their higher satisfaction.

performance level at health and social care organization. My leadership skills was weak but
attending various classes, speech and learning events I easily improve my skills in which I can
easily motivate my team members and also develop their motivation in order to enhance their
productivity. This will helps me to achieving organizational goals and objectives. I also provide
better direction to the workers so that they easily provide quality services to the patients in order
to fulfil their needs in appropriate manner. With the helps of leadership skills I develop my own

and seminar to develop my skills which aid me to increasing the learning process and also
develop my knowledge in appropriate manner. Leadership skills is one of the important for me
so that I have to develop this type of skills in order to achieve my professional goals in effective
manner and also improve my awareness regarding the services which offer to the clients for their
health improvement. For this, I will contact with my senior management and lean that how to
lead a team and improve their performance. So that I can easily understand and also learn form
them to enhance their skills towards the leadership. With the help of this I easily manage and

organization so that they easily provide quality services to their patients. For this organization set
some rules and regulation which have to followed by the employees to encourage better working
environment. It also helps in delivering the best services in front of their patients so that they
attain better treatment and get more satisfied with the services.

of the clients. It is a particular limit of my work which impact on my working performance. In

fails in this which define the negative results.

work in the employees which helps in reducing the conflicts situation.
Communication: If communication process is not effective at the workplace so that it increase
the chances of arising the conflicts among employees and also delay in decision making process.
It also reduce the chances of getting benefits.
Interpersonal interactions: Better interaction between all the workers and staff members is more
important which helps in improving the team engagement. It also helps in achieving the better
results.
Motivation: Less motivation increase the chances of crating the barrier in the team work. So that
it is more important for the leader to use effective policies and methods to encourage employees
and also motivated them.
