INTRODUCTIONIn today's time every individual wants for growth and development of personal andprofessional skills. It can be achieve through set the goals, strategies and desired outcomes oflearning and training (Lumpe, Czerniak and Beltyukova, 2012). To enhance development ofpersonal life, every individual require to self-assessment and identified key area to improve skillsfor themselves. In this report covers different things through every person can develop personaland professional skills. Furthermore, it assesses current skills' ability and learning style based onSWOT analysis. In addition to this, it explains the nature of different professional relationship inhealth and social care context. Beside this, report analysis own role in minimizing barriers toeffective teamwork in health and social care practices. At last, it covers evaluation of theeffectiveness of personal development plan as health care practitioner. TASK 11.1 Compare personal values with principles of supportPersonal valuesEffects on principles of support in HSCPersonal values and beliefs seems to be themost important part that helps the individual toconduct all the roles and responsibilities ineffective manner and it is more vital in therealm of health and social care setting. In the present scenario, it is essential for me toconsider my personal values and beliefs so thatI can treat people accordingly. I always consider the policy of equality anddiversity management; hence this assists me toget support from all the people in effectivemanner. Consideration on equality management assistsme to treat all my team members in equal wayand this also helps in developing team bonding.I believe that at workplace everyone shouldconsider the concept of confidentiality wherein things should not be disclosed publicallywithout having consent from the associatedpersons. This belief has a positive impact on theprinciple of support which assists my teamplayers to reach towards the defined aims andobjectives. Personal values and culture needs to bemaintained at heath care home so that properenvironment can be developed at workplace. This has optimistic as well as pessimisticimpacts on the support dimension as sometimesthis helps the patients to behave positively.

However, huge concern on cultural valuessometimes resist people as well to deliverprominent services.Personal valuesEffects of the individual values on principlesof supportHonesty I always consider this aspect and at the time ofdelivering health care services, I ensure todeliver appropriate services with honesty anddignity. Self respect I ensure to respect the patients because theyalso have the right to speak in decision makingprocess during getting any sort of treatment.However, I do maintain cultural values andbeliefs in all my work processes; still I ensurethat it does not hamper my work quality.Friendship I believe that I need to develop friendship withmy patients so that they can also respond to mein positive manner. This is essential in terms ofdelivering appropriate care to the patients. Compassion I make sure that I am considering empathy forthe patients in which I listen to their viewspoints on higher extent. 1.2 Impact of personal culture on your roleI have working as a health care assistant in Care UK who and I have learned a lot ofthings while delivering services to numerous patients. I always use my experience up to the bestextent so that I can reach towards the determined career goals. For example- while dealing withthe mental health patients; I ensure that I am treating them positively and I am behaving calmlyso that patients can also try to express their feelings (Willis, Reynolds and Keleher, 2016). However, on the other hand I can state that at the time of dealing with numerous patients;I keep my personal values and culture separate so that I can focus on professional contexts. My

previous experience aids me to avoid all such things that can generate issues among patients andhealth care service providers. Additionally, concern on personal cultural dimensions supports meto avoid conflicts and differences. For instance- I have been considering cultural and social values on higher extent andsometimes it impact my work roles and responsibilities. I always ensure to maintainprofessionalism while playing my roles and this assists me to reach towards the aim of growthand development. Information about cultural values is required to be collected so that I canmaintain patient’s interest on higher extent. This can also assist me to retain all the patients forresidential services. Professional care practitioner performs all the duties in effective manner;however a novice person has to learn several things prior practicing in health care setting. This isalso essential for the purpose of treating the patients in effective manner. 1.3 How new development and changes in personal values impact HSC workingI always prefer to adopt changes and new things into account so that to enhance ownlearning level. This helps me to treat all the patients effectively and at the same time it is alsobeneficial for enhancing the opportunities of team work and success. I am also adopting newtools and techniques as per my job roles which assists me to deal with technological facets;hence I can say that is significant for me in numerous ways. Similarly, in work context,technological dimensions reduces challenging and complex issues. Henceforth, as a result I amable to adopt new things successfully. At the same time, this also aids me to contribute more ingoal achievement aspects. However, changes in personal values sometimes creates differencesamong service users and providers and I have seen such issues when I had to deal with suchpatients. Values are work are essential for me because that directs me to perform all my roles andduties aligned with the organizational aspects. At the same time, values at work is also crucialbecause that aids the individual to consider appropriate environment at the workplace andsimilarly this can also strengthen the health care services. Nonetheless, I always follow thepolicy of work prioritization in which I segregate all my roles and responsibilities and accordingto that, I perform all my actions. While having any of the urgent cases, I delegate responsibilitiesto all my team members so that together we can manage each and every aspect in prominent

manner. Moreover, this also changes my values and opinions which I follow at the time ofconducting diverse roles and responsibilities. They are not locked into any one style; thus as perthe situations learning styles could be changed. Activist learns from personal experience, they also conduct practical games and activitiesand they emphasizes on energetic aspects so as to learn more. They generally avoid to workalone. Further, Reflectors take time to think and observe things around them which helps themto conduct their actual roles (Takemura, Kielmann and Blaauw, 2016). Theorist accentuates majorly on theoretical concepts for the purpose of undertakingspecific decision and the last style that is Pragmatism focuses too much on upcoming stages.This also prepares the learners for future uncertainties. On the basis of Honey and Mumford’s learning style, I would prefer to learn throughtheorist because I consider it the suitable learning style for me. Moreover, this will also enhancethe knowledge level and thus I will be able to get more career building opportunities in healthcare setting. However, I also need to focus on other studies so that I can learn practical thingsrelated to my job profile.Existing skills and capabilities I have the capability to communicate effectively with the patients and for that severaltimes, I got appreciation from the management of Care UK.
