INTRODUCTION
Personal and professional development is an essential element for an individual as well as
firm. These two terms are described in the form of persons personal as well as professional
growth (Beach, 2012). These two aspects are helpful in developing humans knowledge and skills
in order to achieving all goals and tasks in an effective manner. This report contains the study
about different approaches to self management learning that are helpful in personal and
professional growth of an individual. Various learning styles and benefits for person as well as
organisation will be described in an effective manner. In this own development needs and
opportunities that helps in meet with current and future demand. This process is helpful in
providing right direction for the growth and success of an individual in their career. Holiday Inn
is the well known hotel industry across the globe. It is famous for its high range of services with
helps in satisfying the actual needs and wants of customers.

Self managed learning is a wide concept or learning and development. It is an effective
technique of gaining knowledge and experience form various ways. Self managed learning is
helpful in a persons own progress and growth through acquiring skills and knowledge from
diverse ways. This aspect is used in every business firm to achieving goals and objectives in
given period of time. An individual is focused towards gaining knowledge that are providing
support for their future purpose. There are various self managed learning approaches are
described as below:

of organisations in order to develop persons skills and knowledge. It is an essential platform for

direction of my leaders and guide. This skill helps me to attaining goals and objectives that are
cited by me in respect of reaching at high position of my career.
Learning ability: It is an another important quality of my that can be used by me to
adopting new tools and techniques related with my work. I focused on learning things that helps
in providing long term benefits for my future goals.

their firm in respect of generating profit and success. They are concentrated on attaining cited

day or my skills are also develop. My hesitation and nervousness is decreasing, so it is easy for
