INTRODUCTIONIn every business entity, personal and professional development plan is necessary whichhelps in attaining their goals and objectives (Continuing Personal and Professional Development(CPPD), 2017). This plan helps in enhancing their learning and improve skills which succour inreaping targets. This plan includes some activities like time management and many things. Ithelps in improving the efficiency do do best work. The manager of business entity have toprovide proper training and development to their staff members which helps in maximising theirefficiency as well as knowledge (Alsop, 2013). The present report is based on Hilton Hotelwhich is a global brand of full services of the hotels. In this report, different approaches of selfmanagement learning has to be discussed. TASK 11.1 Approaches to self managed learningSelf managed learning is the technique which aid in learning many things so that I can dothe more improvements in my knowledge and skills. It succour in analysing the strength andweakness of their own. There are some approaches by which I can do self management learningin a proper manner. I can do more learning by using Internet, seminars and conferences as wellas mentoring and coaching. Internet helps in managing the knowledge as well as skills. There aremany links along with the web page which assist in improving the knowledge of the employeesand that they can use in doing work which helps in attaining targets (Apple, 2011). They can domore self managed learning by using social media as it is a new platform which assist inacquiring the sufficient values. Along with this it aid in improving the personality of the person.By using self management learning, employees of Hilton Hotel increase the knowledge and bythat generate and share the new ideas which assist in doing the developments in the company andby that they can attain their goals and objectives. 1.2 Ways in which lifelong learning in personal and professional contexts could be encouragedThere are various methods in which lifelong learning should be encouraged and it alsohelps in enhancing my skills and employees also who are working in Hilton hotel. Lifelonglearning is that learning which helps in improving the knowledge. Self direct learning: This process is used by the staff members of Hilton Hotel in whichindividual person take the initiative to do good work whether it is done by taking help or doing it

own (Bates and et. al., 2014). This learning helps in making the correct decisions and by thatthey can formulate the goals which aid in doing proper learning. By this method, they canimprove the performance in the market and complete the task in a proper manner.Achievements and motivations: In this method, the managers conduct some activities whichare related to the task of employees of Hilton Hotel and that activity helps in motivating theemployees that they have to provide best services to their consumers. It will helps in increasingthe knowledge and skills of the employees. To provide the more encouragement, manager haveto give rewards to them on the basis of their performance and by that they can attain targets(Thomas and Beauchamp, 2011). 1.3 Benefits of self managed learning to the individual and to the organisationThere are some benefits of the self management learning or mentoring as well ascoaching. It helps in developing the employees at every level. Self management learning ormentoring helps in motivating the employees as well as ourself so that they can attain the goalsand objectives. Along with this it helps in developing or improving the leadership qualities onthe members of Hilton hotel. Mentoring along with the coaching aid in recognising the potentialemployees as it assist in improving the productivity, proficiency. Moreover, it helps in providingbest and qualitative services to their consumers (Personal & Professional Development, 2017). Amentor of the business entity helps the employees that they can learn about the culture whichthey are following in the business enterprise. Organisation have to fulfil the needs and wants in aefficient manner. Along with this they have to attain their target in a smart way. The manager ofHilton Hotel have to provide the unique products and services to their consumers. Self managelearning improves the behaviour as well as make changes to attain the goals (Clarke and Moore,2013). 4.1 Work Based solutionAs a manager of Hilton Hotel, I have to find all the problems which occurs in thebusiness entity whether it is related to employees. My fist goals is to select problem and try toresolve them in a possible way. In Hilton hotel, there are various problems which are occurringand for removing that they have to make effective solutions which are as:Under performing staff: When manager of Hilton Hotel recruiting new employees in theorganisation then they have to provide proper and appropriate training which helps in increasing
