INTRODUCTION Personal leadership and management can be defined as the skills that are required to be focused by an individual in order to attain career goals. With the help of them high level of growth can be acquired. Main aim of this assignment is to analyse importance of personal leadership and management(Aggarwal and Goodell, Bolden, 2016). The organisation which is selected for this report is Marks and Spencer which is mainly established in UK and executing business at global level. For this purpose various topics are covered under this report such as impact of organisational objectives, values and culture, personal assessment of own skills and development, implementation of the plan etc. Along with this, analysis of the progress is also covered under this report. TASK 1 Impact on organisational objectives, value and culture on the leadership and management role For managers of all the business entities it is very important to focus on impacts of organisational objectives, values and culture of the leadership and management role. Members of management team in Marks and Spencer are mainly responsible to analyse all the positive as well as negative impacts objectives, values and culture of leadership and management role. For this purpose they have analyse the main objective, value and culture of the company and then assess the implications. The companies where power culture is followed there leaders have all the rights to make decisions and they give command to workers who are responsible to work according to it. In person culture employees are given more preference as compare to whole enterprise. In Marks and Spencer task culture is followed in which top level executives allot tasks to staff members in order to attain a common goal. This culture leaves impact upon leadership and management roles because it allows leaders to analyse ability of employees and then assign tasks to them accordingly. For all the managers it is vital to acquire all these qualities. For this purpose following steps could be taken: In order to manage the personal development plan it is very important for the managers to analyse that the goals that are set are appropriate or not. Afterwards, they have to assess that the plan is focused with objectives or not. Second step which is required to be taken by individuals is that they have to measure effectiveness of the plan in order to make sure that it can help to reach to the objectives or not(Tang and et.al., 2016).
