INTRODUCTIONPersonal leadership and management can be defined as the skills that are required to befocused by an individual in order to attain career goals. With the help of them high level ofgrowth can be acquired. Main aim of this assignment is to analyse importance of personalleadership and management (Aggarwal and Goodell, Bolden, 2016). The organisation which isselected for this report is Marks and Spencer which is mainly established in UK and executingbusiness at global level. For this purpose various topics are covered under this report such asimpact of organisational objectives, values and culture, personal assessment of own skills anddevelopment, implementation of the plan etc. Along with this, analysis of the progress is alsocovered under this report.TASK 1Impact on organisational objectives, value and culture on the leadership and management roleFor managers of all the business entities it is very important to focus on impacts oforganisational objectives, values and culture of the leadership and management role. Members ofmanagement team in Marks and Spencer are mainly responsible to analyse all the positive aswell as negative impacts objectives, values and culture of leadership and management role. Forthis purpose they have analyse the main objective, value and culture of the company and thenassess the implications. The analysis is as follows:Organisational objectives: Main objectives of Marks and Spencer are to maximiseprofits and capture large market share by offering good quality products to clients so that theirsatisfaction level can be enhanced. These objectives leave impacts upon leadership andmanagement roles because managers have to work effectively in order to reach to the goals andin the process of formulating strategies for the attainment of objectives their roles gets changed.Values: Core value of Marks and Spencer is that the organisation focuses on all itsactivities in order to make sure that its operations are not harming economy, society andenvironment.
