INTRODUCTION
The term of personal and professional development refer to gaining the abilities and skills
of a personal or organisation through rendering or supporting training sessions. A business
organisation desires to employ skilled and able applicants who are able to control and maintain
all the activities and functions in adequate manner (Capps, Crawford and Constas, 2012).
Employer of a company focus over developing their worker abilities and improve their
personality for attaining the objectives in effective way. The major objectives of these practices
is to attain the objectives and gaols of company in efficient way. This assignment is based of
Travelodge company that is second largest hotels chain in all United Kingdom with various
international branches of hotel in all over the world. This report highlights approaches benefits,
concepts of learnings that avail in working objectives and aims in better way. This report will
also discuss the self managed learning as well as its analysis, skill evaluation and lifelong
learnings.

1.1 Evaluation of self managed learning approach
This is an individual's life leader factor. Self managed learning refer to learning from
experiences, company and other environmental factors of person through observing,
communicating consciously and unconsciously. Learning style can be improved through various
methods, seminars, conferences, etc. It is an essential part of a person or organisation which avail
them in growing and developing to reach the achievements. It assist in meeting the level of
satisfaction in one's venture (Cleary and et. al. 2011). Travelodge also adopted this techniques
for meeting their vision and mission of company as well as improving the employee or member
of staff accordingly. There are various approaches of learning which is utilized for different

assist one in developing overall personality or an organisation performance. There are
several elements through which learning from internet is done such as videos, audio,
report and research learning etc. It helps one is acquiring information and knowledge
along with data and statics in order to gain success of development at workplace. Social Media: This is another source of earnings which increase one's knowledge and
information through entertaining them by which performance of a person in an
organisation or one's life changes (Elliott ed., 2011). This easily concept with individual
as well as provide quicker services of exchange of communication. It is the best and
effective platform of self managed learnings.
Seminars: It is proper learning style and prime source of self managed learnings in which
the organisation will conduct various seminars and conferences for the development of
worker's abilities, skills and knowledge in order to achieve targets and goals. Through the
speaker, leader and manager's speech, the information is conveyed to employee for
grooming of their knowledge.

Hotel will utilize the method of lifelong learning of their worker in order to achieve their task

worker. It is the duty of worker to accomplish the objectives of company and work as a team for
