INTRODUCTION Personal analysis is one of the training need analysis that is used by the individuals to identify the different skills and attitude that the person carriers in their personal life. The analysis is done to ensure that the behaviour of the individual is well supported for the job role that they are looking to achieve in their personal life (S Weinberg, 2021). This helps in the identification of the traits of individuals who want to achieve the desired performance in their academic and professional life. Personal reflection is a technique through which an individual reflects the personal feelings and learning in which they are developing their attitude. This reflective piece covers the personal SWOT analysis which will help in assessing the behaviour and the attributes of the individual. Further the key areas through which the future objectives of the individual are attained are also discussed. MAIN BODY Key competencies Swot analysis This tool is helpful in identifying the potential and capabilities that I have in me through which I can attain the set goals and objectives. I have developed various types of strengths through my academic life which will be helpful in achieving the goals and objectives. This will help me in achieving success in the future prospects (Varacalli, 2020). I also have weakness due to which I lack in several areas, I need to overcome these areas in order to ensure that I gain good competitive edge over the other candidates. Further to an analyse these areas I have performed a SWOT analysis on myself. The new Human resource apps are used by the organisation and the candidate should be familiar with these application, this will help them in grabbing the opportunity.If my interpersonal skills are good, then I will develop good opportunities in the field of human resource as the main part is based on the interaction with the employees and other people associated with the organisation.According to my skills, I also have good opportunity in the field of The major threat that is faced by me in the industry is that there are several candidate and I need to develop my skills in these areas in order to ensure that I give good competition to other candidates that are looking for an opportunity in this sector (Adam, 2020). The competencies identified by me are helpful for different job professions. As I have the ability to prove myself in completing the tasks and activities. Thus, it is important to examine the desired goals to be achieved in my graduation period. So that these ideas and methods will support me gaining experience and to prepare timely to achieve next level (Kolodeznikova, 2021). Short term goals -These are meant for short time period. These goals prepare for targeting the small growth towards the path of own career. After completing my graduation, there are a lot of options which could be achieved in a short period of time. As I have some good knowledge of technical skills that will help me for pursuing digital marketing. As this field has a high growth which will help me in strengthen my skills for using IT software and tools. My goal is to complete the digital marketing course in 6 months. In addition, I will also look for an internship in digital marketing which will helps in gaining the practical experience and also helps me in enhancing my IT skills. Medium term goals –These are to be followed for a specific time. These goals needs to be finished in 1-year time period after completing my graduation. I could achieve my targets by registering myself for the diploma courses in masters of management. That would need a maximum of 1-year time to finish the course of HR. With the help of this course I will build my knowledge and attributes to perform the role of HR manger. After this I will be able to recognize the roles and responsibilities of a HR manager performs for better productivity and profitability of the organization. It is essential to for me to look for the career option which relates to my fields and will help me to set my aim. Therefore, after my graduation I will become eligible for taking part in HR programmes, campaigns and trainings which will build my skills (Hoolihan and Thomas, 2020). Long term goals –These are for long period time. There are many dreams and goals of an individual which are carried whole life to get it achieved in a fruitful manner. My 4
ultimate goal is to pursue MBA course after my graduation. This would help me in improving my knowledge and skill in the specific field of my interest. Progression opportunities Career progression is the activity which is related with the advancement and progress in the career so that the set objectives and goals can be achieved. This will help me in analysing the challenges, opportunities and problems so that the I can clear all the doubts and further establish an ambitious mind. Further to make a good career in the field of HR, the areas that I need to develop are discussed below: Networking-This is one of the major factor which plays an important role in the career development of an individual. Networking helps in getting touch with the people who are related to the industry. The networking helps in opening major opportunity for me as I get connected with different role models of the industry. The networking can be done through different social media platforms; I can develop connection with several people in the industry. Progression Barrier Several types of barriers that come across during the process of career progression is discussed below in context of HR position that I am looking to apply: Lack of direction- This is one of the barrier for me which I face in attaining the goals and objectives. Due to the lack of directions I was unable to grab the opportunities in the market. This will help me in creating impact on the decisions and the choices that I will make in the future (Rashmi and Wilson, 2018).Fear of failure-This is one of the major barrier which I faced while achieving the set goals and objectives. I lack in terms of confidence which is a major weakness that I face while going out of my comfort area. CONCLUSION From the above report it can be concluded that skills and knowledge are the most crucial factor that is required in the students in order to attain the set objectives. This report was helpful in identification of strength, opportunities, weaknesses and threats which further helped me in performing the skills audit.
