Description This assignment is in the form of a written report on the impacts of
climate change on human health and sustainable development in the UAE.
Guidelines for
Completion
 For this assignment you are expected to use the course material,
individually researched material, as well as materials and references
posted on the VLE and available in the e-library.
 The report should be organized into: introduction; main body (with
appropriate headings and subheadings); conclusion and
recommendations; and references (APA style). The reference list is not
included in the word count.
 You are expected to cover the following topics:
- causes and mechanisms of climate change;
- impacts of climate change (environmental, health, social, economic);
- indicators of climate change in the UAE over the last decades;
- impacts of climate change on different environment sectors in the
UAE (e.g. water sector, coastal zones, etc.);
- effects of climate change on sustainable development in UAE;
- conclusion (summary of the most important key points)
- recommendations for adaptation to climate change and mitigation
of its impacts in UAE
 You need to list all references that you use in your assignment including URLs
in the list of references. You must also use in-text citations for all sources/
references used. Please, refer to the posted APA guide for the proper way to
cite and reference your sources.
