INTRODUCTION
Professional development is associated within the process of learning as well as
developing by the goal of earning professional credentials as well as maintaining it. It involves
conferences and academic degrees and many more (Saric. and Steh, 2017). Or in other words
Personal and Professional development is consider as the process by which the entity as well as
individual engage within learning process in order to meet the challenges as well as goals. It is
necessary for every person to develop themselves personally and professionally to achieve
higher position within career. It is also vital for every person so that improves their own
capabilities in order to improve within themselves and for the firm where they are working.
Present Report focuses on the evaluation of the personal and professional development where
there is Swot analysis of owns skills is done as well as use the smart goals in order to be more
effective reflection. Report also focuses on decision making techniques and problem solving
within the context of the personal development plan. Furthermore Report also focuses on
transferable skills by the programme such as business management.
LO 1
SWOT analysis
It is necessary to identify own personal strength and weakness so that it can be improved.
For this there are several models and tools that is available which can be used. Similarly, i also
found that in order to attain my career goals and objectives it is necessary for me to analyse my
skills (Ward. and van der Mars, 2020). Thus, for that i have used SWOT analysis. It will help
me to find out strength and weakness and also i will be able to identify areas in which i need
improvement. Furthermore, with that i will be able to set goals and objectives of my career
which i want to attain. Besides that, SWOT will help in evaluating my current skills and
capabilities. Thus, it is as follows
Strengths

I found that i am easily able to solve problems and find out solutions from it. i know that how to
analyse problem and then find out root cause of it. also, i am easily able to solve complex
problems as well. this is my key strength
I am easily able to do various task at one time. this means that i am highly capable in multi
tasking. I know how to handle and manage different tasks and complete it.
I possess leadership skills and i am easily able to lead team of 5-10 people. besides that, i have
knowledge about various leadership styles as well. i am also able to inspire and encourage other
people (Jaeger, 2018).
Weakness
My main weakness is that i am not able to communicate in proper way. it is because of my
introvert nature. I do not know various types of communication methods. So, this hamper my
performance.
Another weakness is that i am not able to take effective decisions. I always get confused in doing
so and this hamper my performance. Moreover, decisions that i take are ineffective. So, this
results in not obtaining of goals and objectives.
I am weak in completing tasks on time. as my strength is multi tasking so i get late in doing tasks
in deadline. It leads to impact on my productivity in negative way. i always get delay in finishing
my work. (Saric. and Steh, 2017)
Opportunities
I can learn new and advance skills such as research, analysis, etc which will highly benefit in my
career growth. With that i will be able to possess relevant skills and capabilities.
I can also do some online course where i will gain more knowledge about advance skills that is
required. Besides that, i will get aware upcoming trends in job and then according i will set my
goals and objectives.
