Continuous improvement is a process rather
activity set that is widely used in different
business organizations regardless of their size
and the complexity of their projects.
Continuous improvement is defined as an
effort that is used to improve products,
services and process of the organizations.
Continuous improvement plan can be
successfully implemented if the identified
steps are again implemented accordingly. The
completion of the continuous improvement
cycle is abbreviated as PDCA cycle.
I have realized that, in case of continuous
improvement the improvement approaches
are always incremental nature it means
that changes occur with the changing time
period. The continuous improvement
process is comprises of four phases:
 Identify
 Planning
 Execution
 Review
The four different consecutive phases
followed by the project managers during
the successful incorporation of continuous
improvement plan are as follows:

continuous
improvement plan
For personal continuous improvement I use
to attend all my lecture classes and extra
classes. I also believe in online learning app
those help me to gain more knowledge about
current affairs.
I have realized that with the successful
continuous improvement plan the skills and
knowledge can also be improved
accordingly. In this case a graph can be
represented where the X axis shows time
and the Y axis shows the values. I have
learned that, continuous improvement plan
and entropy can be measured from these
factors in personal assessment.

The quality is a measuring factor for any
business organization that helps to measure
the productivity, ability, reliability,
production, and trust and ser requirements
paralelly. Quality helps the business
organizations to gain commercial success and
competitive advantages simultaneously.
Quality control and continuous improvement
are two different aspects those are related to
each other. If one of these factors interrupted
then the other will not be archived by the
business organization. Quality provides the
following to the businesses:
 Competitive advantages
 Increasing consumers
The quality of products and services of any
business organization helps to implement
innovative ideas and creativity in their
organizations. The product quality deals
with the following components:
 External requirements
 Internal requirements
 Activities
 Processes to be carried out
 Resource required
In order to achieve more success and

management and quality improvement the
company should analyse total quality
management plan.

In order to measure the quality of any
product or service, different quality
measurement actions or methods are
available. Among those the most suitable one
is needed to be followed accordingly, for the
business requirement. The following are the
measurement methods:
 Structural measurement
 Process measurement
 Outcome measurement
In order to foster service delivery success the
projects and business organizations should
make in depth analysis on company
recognition for service orientation,
engagement of the internal employees,
quality of the services, the experience of the
consumers.
I have learned that, for quality
measurement some other factors are also
required to be analysed by the project
executives such as reliability, assurance,
tangibility, empathy and responsiveness.
The more the consumers will get attracted
to the service and product the more profit
can be gained by the business
organizations.
Portfolio Reflection:
This portfolio demonstrates the details of quality improvement plan and continuous improvement program and also defines the relationship between the
quality management and continuous improvement. It has been found that, with the successful measurement f quality improvement plan the business will
be able to gain competitive advantages and high commercial revenue.
