INTRODUCTION
Marketing play a major role in business development as it is effective in attracting a
customer towards the business. Most of the businesses in this world are now shifting from
traditional methods of marketing to digital techniques of marketing (Cole, 2017). Digital
marketing takes support of information and technology related methods in order to facilitate a
business to sell its products and services. In this report there is a brief explanation of digital and
social media marketing and also a brief explanation of marketing and communication mix. This
report also contains a brief overview of social media contents along with their explanation. In
this report example of Red bull energy drink is taken into consideration. Red bull energy drink
is a worldwide famous energy drink which was founded in 1984 at United States.

Definition and dimensions of marketing
There are various departments which function in an organisation for effectively
maintaining different operations. Marketing is considered as one of the major department which
is dedicated to increase sales and revenue of a business by performing different functions.
Marketing is considered as a major art or technique in which a business mainly decides selling of
different products at the marketplace. A business develops different products and a service in
order to sell them to the customers thus it is essential for a business to reach out different
customers (Dasser, 2019). Red bull has a professional marketing department which is dedicated
to sell its products and services in the global market. Marketing involves several functions like
advertisement and publicity of a product in order to attract large number of customers.
Description of marketing mix and fitting of communication mix in marketing
Marketing mix
Marketing mix is considered as one of the major techniques in field of marketing as it is
helpful increasing large number of productivity. In selling of a particular product
marketing play a major role that is why marketing mix is essential for Red bull. The
marketing mix of Red bull is explained below:

Price- The final value which is produced by a business of a product at the
marketplace is known as price. It is essential for a business to keep effective and
precise of a product at the marketplace. In gaining competitive advantage in a
business it is essential for a business to keep crucial price of a product. Red Bull
energy drink is also dedicated to formulate effective price of products at the
marketplace (Kartajaya, 2019). Business development is facilitated with the help of
price of a particular product.
Place- Place plays a major role in increasing profitability of a business in a precise
manner. The place is referred to geographical location of a particular product in
order to sell it at the marketplace. It is essential for a business to keep a crucial eye
on deciding location of selling the product.
Promotion- It is essential to do promotion of a product at the marketplace in order
to effectively develop customers for the business. In digital and traditional
marketing promotion is mainly beneficial in business development. Advertisement
is considered as main source of promotion in order to achieve several business
goals.
Product- The final commodity which is produced by a particular company is
known as final product. The product is output produced by quality management and
production management to fulfil demands of different customers at the
marketplace. In business development it is essential to formulate a precise product
which is essential in attracting large number of customers.
Communication mix application
In the functioning of whole business at the marketplace, communication plays a major
role as it facilitates exchange of information to customers. It is essential to perform
communication mix at the marketplace to increase sales of particular product. In the marketing
management it requires a professional marketing management to perform effective
communication mix of a particular product. In the development of a business at the marketplace
communication mix is considered as the major element of marketing in order to achieve specific
marketing strategies (Key, 2017). In the business environment it is essential to develop
