INTRODUCTION
The term professional career development refers to some skills and competencies which
are being developed at initial stage in order to have good professional career ahead. Interviewer
is one who is responsible for interrogating a candidate that has shown his interest in doing job
with that company (Albright, 2020). Interviewee is an applicant who had applied for job post.
The conversation between an interviewer and interviewee comprises of asking several questions
related to desired job basis on responses of which company or interviewer decides whether to
hire or not. There are certain skills which are mandatory in order to have good job position along
with analysis of strong and weak areas so that can be developed by taking timely steps. The
present report is based upon a job interview of a Beauty therapist for which interview is being
conducted. Further the report includes a self-reflection comprising analysis of strong and weak
areas along with a plan to develop skills through application of Kolb's model into the scenario.

Applicant must carry
minimum a graduation degree
with at-least 65% marks from
authorised university.
Applicant who is having
minimal experience of at-least
0-1 years will be accepted.
Applicant having master
degree with specification in
health and beauty along with
professionalism in working
high rated saloon will be
considered.
Skills and knowledge An applicant must possess
effective communication and
influencing skills so to have
strong communication with
customers and staff. It is also
needed to have handsome
knowledge in selling and
guiding customers to buy
saloon’s beauty products.
An applicant must carry good
greeting skills so to have great
impact on customers while
they visit to saloon. Applicant
should also have overall
knowledge with certain
experience so to provide
better beauty treatment to
saloon’s customers and retain
them. He/she should be
competent to attend more than
one customer at a time at the
time of festival season or on
high demand.
