INTRODUCTION
Personal Development can be defined as the process which is used in order to provide
specialised training, advanced professional learning and formal education purposes which is
intended to support an individual to improve their own skills, competencies and knowledge. In
order to complete the assignment, the Hotel chosen is Holiday Inn which is headquartered in UK
and provides various accommodation related services to the customers. The operations of
business are controlled from variety of locations such as airport, city centres and suburbs. The
following assignment will make its focus on the key benefits of on going personal and
professional development for stakeholders along with the skills and competency expectations of
employer. In addition to this, the assignment will cover audit skills for specific job role with
some learning skills that will help in the improvement in skills and capabilities of employees.
Lastly, the assignment will present a job interview for the job role and their strengths an
weaknesses.

P1) Benefits of On Going Professional Development for Stakeholders
Professional Development can be regarded as the most important practise that could help
an individual in its growth and development. Additionally, with the help of efficient professional
skills, it would become easy for the organisations to achieve their desired goals and objectives in
an effective manner (Wald and et. al., 2015). Due to this reason, it is important for developing
highly skilled and competent workforce to provide them regularly with on going professional
development practises so that improvement in their performance could be made. This could be
made possible with the help of arranging several events, seminars, conferences, training
programmer, development programs in order to make improvement in their current skills and
knowledge.
Hospitality Industry is one of the fastest growing industry in this world. Along with this,
it is also the third largest industry in term of employment opportunities. Due to this reason, the
number of companies in this industry is also increasing day by day which making the
competition among the companies more intense day by day. It also makes important for the
company to adopt suitable policies and strategies that could help the hotel in the future growth
