Background of the problem
The main aim of the research is basically depend on the impact of covid-19 viruses
and the pandemic due to viruses on the mental health of the students. This has been observing
from various time that coronavirus is typically increasing and its situation in highly related
and important for those people who are highly mentally disabled and sick. This is the major
pandemic which are face by the people at global level which are highly related to socio-
economic factor, economy and health of the society. It could be related to the observing
pandemic and make a change in the country while working on the growth of pandemic. One
of the report show that almost 16-18% of student are facing anxiety and depression (Baker
and et.al., 2020). This risk is increasing in the approaches of women and young patient
having poor quality of the sleep. The risk of the patient are increase for make identify the
physiological, social, and make personal effects of the covid-19 for the health of mental
health. Any problem in the mental health that can be affect their daily life and reduce the
concentration power from studies.

 Steps taken by the government to improve the mental health of the students.
Research Questions:
 What is the impact of covid-19 on mental health of the students?
 Are there any steps which are taken by the government to improve the mental health
of the students?
Research methods
This is the method which are usually helpful for the researcher to conduct the survey
and make sure to analysis the growth of research to provide relevant growth. It will explain
further:
 Research Philosophies: This will refer to concern and make research is conducted
through the advance nature of the company. There are mainly positivism and
interpretivism are used by the researchers. Positivism approach are used for the
growth and analysis of the research. As this approach is basically related to deductive

approach in order to testing phenomena for the quantitative approach is used
(Copeland and et.al., 2021). Which is helpful for the growth of company to make
different approach and objective for assigning different task.
 Research Approach: There are mainly two type of research are used which are
deductive and inductive approaches. The deductive approach is used for completing
this research because of making specific example which are based on making
literature review which has been observed by conducting research. Whereas, inductive
approach start with the observation to create some new and innovative theory. As it
will be helpful for the growth and achievement of the research by conducting different
section and achievement of the objectives.
 Research Strategy: This is basically related to main strategy which are used and
make sure to assign the task on the specified objective. It will include experimental
research, questionnaire, interview and a systematic literature review. Which is all
related to the achievement and success of the company (Hakami and et.al., 2020).
Questionnaire is used for completing this research and survey is related to 51 sample
size. As it is somehow specified and ideal sample size for completing this assignment
and make appropriate research.
 Choice of methods: there are mainly two type of method are used which are related
to qualitative and quantitative method. As this research is conducted on the basis of
quantitative method as it will helpful in analysing and selecting the data cycle which
are helpful for analysing and conducting questionnaire. In this primary and secondary
method are used for completing this research.
 Time horizon: Here cross-sectional method are used for completing this research as it
will be helpful in making result of most of the surveys. It will be beneficial for the
researcher to complete the research on time (Van de Velde and et.al., 2021). The
appropriate time for working in completing research is related to the achievement of
objectives. It is helpful for the growth of research to make a systematic research and
make changes in the research.
