Task 4:
Importance of risk management:
Refers to the risk management, then this is the part of the project, that have decided the working
of the project and secure the project from the unwanted risk. There are a lot of risks are present
in the project, in the terms of cost, schedule and many more. But by the help of the mitigation
techniques, it is easy to overcome the risk. Below shows the some of the risks of the project
management and shows some of the mitigation techniques to resolves these risks.
Risk identification:
While there are a lot of risk into the project, so it is important to identify the type of the risk and
identifies the quality of the risk. The identification of the risk can be done with the help of a
checklist. There is much organization uses this checklist function to find out the risk. Some of
the common risk that is associated with the project are:
Technical risk.
Cost risk.
Schedule risk.
Client risk.
Contractual risk.
Weather risk.
Financial risk.
Political risk.
Environment risk.
People risk.
Above shows the some of the common risks that are associated with any project. Now refers to
the current project that is related to the QA Higher Education. Below shows the some of the risks
that are related to the current scenario.

that are related to the current scenario.
Risk of cost: while the project is developed then there is various factor affect the costing of the
project. So, it is important to analyse all the cost in the planning phase. But many times, the
developer fails to calculate the whole cost and the costing of the whole project not managed
properly. So, there is need to analysis the costing of the project at the starting of the project.
Risk of schedule: this is the other major risk in the project, this will directly affect the schedule
of the project. As the whole schedule of the project is completed into the planning phase but
sometimes the project exceeds the time limit. So, there is need to analysis the time required for
each task of the project properly in the planning phase.
Legal risk: this is one of the most common risks of the project. In this sometimes the project
manager forgot some of the legal rules that are made by the government. These rules must follow
all the organizations properly otherwise they have to pay.
Operational risk: this risk arises due to the poor implementation of the resources into the
project. Sometimes the developer uses less quality product in the process and this will affect the
final outcomes. Other than this sometimes the worker took more time to complete the project
(Brokerlink, 2013).
PRINCE2 model for the project:
It is known as a project in a controlled environment. This model is used to manage the workflow
of the project in the definite structure. This is the tool that is used by the various countries and
organizations to completes the project. This was initially developed by the UK government. At
the time of the development, this process is known as project resources organization
management planning. Refers to the PRINCE2, then this is followed seven themes, seven
principles and seven processes. Below show the details of the QA Higher Education.
Seven processes of the PRINCE2:
Starting the project: this is the step one, in that the project is started for the QA Higher
Education. This is the stage at which the project started.
Initiating the project: this is the second stage of the process, there is need to assemble all the
document that is related to the QA Higher Education.
Directing the project: this is the third stage of the model, in this find the way to the project.
properly. So, there is need to analysis the costing of the project at the starting of the project.

Controlling the project: this is the fourth process of the model, in this analysis the working of
each stage of the stage for the QA Higher Education.
Managing the project delivery: this is the most important stage of the process in this creates the
understanding of the project and the members of the project team of QA Higher Education.
Managing the project boundaries: this is a step that manages the working of the different
stages of the project from one stage to another stage.
Closing the project: this is the final and the most important stage because the ending of the
project is most important part of any project.
This all about the process of the PRINCE2 model now below provides the details about the
principles of the model. There are total seven principles of the model.
Continuous business justification: this defines as to manage the documents at every stage of
the project. There is need to create the documentation of work at every stage of the project. This
is also valid for the QA Higher Education.
Manage by exception: there is need to arrange the meeting by the upper-level management and
meeting with the team members to get the details about the process of the project for QA Higher
Education.
Learn from experience: there is always a scope of learning, so there is need to learn from each
stage of the project.
Defined responsibilities and roles: in the project, there are a lot of members are working in the
team, so there should provide specific works for each member of the team.
Managed by stages: the whole project is planned, and it was scheduled as per planning. So,
there is need to manage the work of the flow of the system, as per the schedule.
Focus on the product: refers to each stage of the development of the project, then there are
outcomes in each stage of the QA Higher Education. So, there is need to monitor all the stage of
the development of the project.
Tailoring: this refers to the changes the documents or manage the documented in the much easy
