INTRODUCTIONThe impact of globalisation has changed the total scenario of business practices byincluding different trends. These trends include enhancing trade across borders of goods andservices, level of labour migration between countries, greater outsourcing and outsourcing ofproduction, the emergence of global brands and finally expansion of foreign direct investment.These trends have a deep impact on the business activities of business organizations. Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd. (HUM) is a manufacturing company based in the UKwhich is a subsidiary of the automotive company Honda (Hondamanufacturing.co.uk, 2018). Themanufacturing plants of the company include engine assembly, casting, pressing, painting,welding, and other car assembly activities. In order to understand the impact of globalization onthe business activity of the organization, Honda of the UK manufacturing (HUM), the projectwould be illustrating the changes that are required for the business in order to tackle thechallenges of globalization.However, in this assignment project management plan projectimplementation plan, Research analysis and performance review will be demonstrated. A project within an organisation refers to some future plan which will be part of theorganisational activity for introducing new services. Every project has a specific scope, time,skills, requirements and budget for fulfilling the need for project implementation (Nambisan et.al. 2017).Honda UK manufacturing Limited has situated in the year 1985 and they have theirheadquarters in the Swindon United Kingdom. The organisation is known as a subsidiary for thefamous organisation Honda and works within automobiles and engine manufacturing industry.However, the company is currently having 3400 Employees with a huge number of the customerbase in the United Kingdom. The effort ability of this organisational product is the main reasonbehind their productivity and profitability and, therefore, the introduction of digital technology aspart of the different organisational operational activity will improve the business profitability inthe terms of globalization (Stone and Woodcock, 2014).Problem statementHonda UK manufacturing is associated with their productivity and popularity in themarket of United Kingdom. However, the company requires proper understanding about theimpact of the globalization that could have on the business activities of the company. Thereforefor maintaining the competition with the market competitors, some improvements in theoperational areas are required for the company to survive in the global market.
