INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is a method of interacting with with different kinds of people, sharing
information across the globe. In economic term, it can b stated as interdependence of nation
around the world supported with free thoughts and trade. Its motive are futuristic and
opportunistic, in order to develop the market and large corporations (Ahmed Dine Rabeh,
Jimenez-Jimenez and Martínez-Costa, 2013). The present report is based on a organisation which
deals in fashion. John Lewis is the company who mainly is a manufacturer as well provide goods
and services to various retailers who deals in fashion across the globe. They have variety of
range, which includes watches, house wear, furniture, jewellery, clothes and many more items.
Newly, they have interned in the shoe industry so they compete with other big brands available
in the market. For this, event was organised in London fashion week in order to launch there
shoe. One of the major task is to examine the aim along with objective for the present case scene
of John Lewis. This report also include project management plan which consists of scope,
resources, quality as well as time while conducting this research project.
TASK 1
P1 Project aims and objectives
Globalisation help in establishing the interacting communication with different kinds of
persons, different organisation located in various region across the word. It is a concept which
straight away effects the business functionally at both domestic as well as international level. In
relation to John Lewis, company is launching its brand new product which is shoe which comes
along with Achilles tendon protector (Crane and Matten, 2016). With the help of this, the pain of
Achilles can be easily decreased so as to lock it near the heel. The respective company is
intending to introduce new products at London Fashion Week as the audience to this event is
ascertained to be large.
Aim: “To launch new variety of shoes within the London Fashion Week in order to compete with
rival firms and inflate its profits in market”. A case study on John Lewis.
Objectives:
To ascertain the concept of introducing new offerings within international marketplace.
To assess the success of launching new offerings in front of other large scale rival firms.
To ascertain the hurdles while launching new offerings within global market.

P2 Project Management Plan
Project management plan is important for every organisation. Project management plan is
compulsory for maintain the project in a good manner. Many activities are included like the time
of the project, cost, specific information related to the projects (Den Hertog, Van der Aa and De
Jong, 2010) various plans related to the projects requirement of the projects are also important.
Documentation plan is necessary for the organisation. These things directly affect the growth of
an organisation. Information of the project should be accurate. Sometime decision making at
current timing also help in development of an organisation. It also effects on the working culture
of the organisation and also economic factors which effect the globalisation. These are depended
on projects, human resources, finance, management and many other things. Growth of an
organisation is depending on the productivity and it is directly related to the performance of
employees. There are many aspects which are directly related to this so brief discussion of these
are as following.
Cost
It is an important aspect because who0le project is depends on the cost. Through cost
they can complete there project in a proper manner (Eckerson, 2010). It is true that cost effect in
different manner on specific functions. Productive of an organisation is also analysed according
to the cost.
Scope
This is mostly used to find the opportunity which is important concept for time period of
a specific project. They 2want to explore their business through increase type of products.
Through all this they can increase the scope and directly impact on the various factors related to

product increases the demand of the production. There is various opportunity which helps project
development.
Time
This is all about time management which is complementary for every project. Through
timing they can divide the project into vireos segments (Gebauer, Edvardsson and Bjurko,
2010 ). Through time management they can complete their work in a particular time period. In
many organisation 50 days is the estimated time period which is given by the senior to complete
their work. Time duration of the project on the length of the project. It is flexible according to the
project.
Quality
Quality of a project is differentiating the product from others. Through providing a good
quality they can increase the demand of the products. There are many aspects culture, economy,
lifestyle and ethical farriers are also improving the quality of the product. Mostly projects are
depending on the quality of the project. Quality is also helpful for the quantitative advantage.
Communication
Communication is the only way to represent. Through an effective communication they
can develop their business. Effective communication is necessary for the employees. It is one of

communication is uses like an advantage in organisation also support to find loo-phase of
organisation which effect the growth of an organisation. So it can say that communication is
important in every manner.
Risk
As it is knowing that in the current business environment, every projects started with a
risk. When an organisation developing its projects, they need toy analysis the risk possibility in
the project. There are many type of risk that is found and those areas like the cultural risk,
emotional, economical. These things are those who effect project directly. Cost of the project,
timing of the project, planning strategy of the project are the main reasons of increased risk.
Resources
When the project is given by the researcher son it is the basic responsibility of his to
provide each and every resource related to the project. resources of the project which also comes

P3 Work breakdown structure and Gantt chart
Work breakdown structure
Work breakdown stricture is basically designed to classified a big project into several
segments. It is an important project for every organisation. Through this classification they
distribute it in different team with a time limit. A work breakdown strictures elements can be the
data and services. Work breakdown structure help to provide an effective framework for
planning of the project (Jones and Lubinski, 2012) Through the work breakdown structure,
budget of a project can be allotted on the top level. Through the calculation of project, it is
derived into each department according to the project. Time duration also given for each project.

Gantt chart
Gantt chart is type of a bar chart. It is mostly uses for project schedule. With the help of
Gantt chart a project manager can found timing of each activity of project. It reflects the starting

business activities as well as business operations effectively. Company have to analyse,
internal and external factors for making appropriate decisions, and various point to be
consider are location of the outlet, target customers and the various method of data

P7 Reflect on the value of undertaking the research to meet stated objectives
While carrying out this research, I have gone through various problems and hurdles
while promoting importance and efficiency of different product and services at international
platform. Ahead of launching new product in the market, I have gone through various
market trends and try to find out the different ways to fulfil the required demands of
customers. To attract large customer base, it is essential for a company to launch its product
on some recognized stage. In this case John Lewis have launch its product in London
Fashion Week. So it is important for the company to analyse the whole market scenario and
demand of respective customers (Smith, 2011). While conducting this research, I have
recognized that each individual comes from different background of culture, caste and
beliefs, which allows me understand there thoughts. Due to indecorous interpersonal skills ,
I used to face problem while interacting with customers. But in the end of the research I
have counter my fear of interacting with people.
CONCLUSION
As per the report, it has been identified that handling a successful project is not easy
chore. As it involves different kind of activities and functions which are complex in nature.
Due to globalisation, company can increase there profit as well as they can capture large
