INTRODUCTION
A process of completing specific project by making use of skills, techniques and tools for
delivering value to people is known as project management (Picciotto, 2020). This study is
going to discuss roles of waterfall and agile methodology for completing music event. It will
further discuss ways in which Gantt chart and work breakdown structure help project managers
in performing their tasks and accomplishing goals. Risk and stakeholder analysis is also
important for protecting against failure of project by making use of effective risk management
strategies.
TASK 1
Project management plan
Project management plan is a kind of formal document that consists of various details
that are related to the assignment or project which includes the ways of doing the tasks,
objectives of the project along with interested stakeholders (Jiang, Klein and Fernandez, 2018).
Hence, it provides complete outline of scope, budget, goals, deliverables and methodologies that
has been utilized in order to complete the project in most efficient manner. Such as:
Objective: the basic objective of organizing the music event which is related to
celebrating 40th anniversary of G&S society and to unveil TFL strategic directions to
stage one of the famous play-writer i.e. William G Gilbert.
Deliverables: With the project, it has been planned to deliver a music event to clients for
celebrating 40th anniversary of G&S society.
Methodology: It refers to set of principles and practices that has been utilized by project
manager to appropriately organize the event and deliver in efficient manner. Price, Agile
and Waterfall are three major methodologies that could be used to manage the project in
successful manner. The project management approach is the Waterfall methodology in
which additive progress is being prepared which is from initial to end of the project. In
this methodology, initial stages are needs to be completed before starting the next stage.
Prince 2 is another method 0of doing the project which is widely acceptable all across
the world. This particular method is flexible and allow changes irrespective of size and
scale. While Agile methodology is used that break project into certain phases such as
planning, execution and closure (Richardson and Jackson, 2018). Hence, agile

methodology is being selected for the project of organize event as it enables the project
gets done in most significant manner.

On the basis of above diagram, it can be said that first path that has shown in red would be better
for completing this music concert. The reason of selecting this path is: time. If we choose this
path, then this project will be completed in a timely manner and it can improve image of project
manager (Mindzaeva, Beshenkov and Adamchuk, 2019).
TASK 3
Importance of stakeholder analysis for project management
In regard to stakeholder analysis, it can be said that it refers a process by which project
managers identify people who are involved with this project and can help project managers in
accomplishing goals. Stakeholder analysis is one of the best ways of knowing interest as well as
influencing power to project management. Stakeholder analysis for this project include:

all tasks have been divided into smaller and easier tasks (Satrio and Latief, 2018). It breaks
down one task into subordinate tasks and project manager finds easier in completing complex
tasks accordingly.
