Kingfisher providesemployment to 130000 people around the world, therefore, it aims at properly managing itshuman resources the lifeblood of company. In this report, functions and purpose of HR areexplained with key roles and responsibilities of HR. benefits of different HRM practices for bothemployee and employer are explained and also evaluation of effectiveness of HRM practices isdone.TASK 11. HRM focuses on maintaining effectiverelationship between employee and employer so that employees feel motivated and satisfiedwhich leads to bring effectiveness in business operations and activities. HRM uses different HRpractices and approaches to select and recruit the best employees, providing them with trainingand development programs and improving their performance level in order to effectively achievebusiness objectives.Functions of HRMWorkforce-planning: Effective workforce-planning helps organisation to effectively managehuman resources. Kingfisher being a retailer needs effective employees who bring innovationand leads to improve effectiveness of operations.
