TQM is an important tool for theproject manager in order to achieve the objective of business. To achieve the mission of theorganization TQM is adopted by various small to medium industries. It will work towards thecontinuous advancement of quality of product and delivering of services while considering realsituations. In the organization customers and client plays an important role towards the successof organization so TQM implementation plans and strategies are usually made keeping this inmind. There is a strong implementation of TQM across organization.According to Miah, A.Q., (2016) in various workforce where TQM strategy has beenenforced, business is seen through the eyes of customers and clients and expectation of customerand clients is measured against the performance of the organization. So, to be effective in theimplementation of TQM one need to see the business from the perception of the customers andclients. TQM provides management with effective methods that can be used to gain long-termsuccess through customer satisfaction. The use of TQM in the organization can guide in various1

ways by enhancing the quality of organization and performance of employees. As stated byNeyestani, B., (2017), both hard and soft skill can be developed in the organization by makinguse of TQM. To maintain the position in competitive world TQM implementation is importantfor the organization. TQM is essential for betterment of the business as it will produce moreinnovative ideas and develop new products. The Needs of the workplace can be identified withhelp of TQM. It will provide a better and advanced way for the organisation to fulfil the desired needsof the market. This practice will also enhance the employee performance and bring change inattitude of employees that will lead to development of effective team and proper work culture. With the introduction of systematic approach, the quality improvement team will lower theamount of waste and inefficiency across business as per O’Neill, Sohal and Teng, (2016). To beeffective in interaction and communication across organization TQM practice will bind variousdepartments and different levels of management. However, on the other side, an extensive training and assistance to employees need to begiven during the implementation of TQM in a company. In this training, guidance is given toemployees in order to solve the issues with various methods and tools in order to examine theweaknesses. According to Samset and Volden, (2016), there can be decline in the productivityduring the initial stage of training period. The productivity can also be lowered as the meetingfor improving the quality can take workers away from their jobs. The employee output can alsobe decreased during the initial stage of implementation of TQM due to enhancement that is donein order to decrease lead time, reduce waste and enhance productivity. To take the business forward TQM make use of small incremental model which mighttake a lot time to enjoy the program benefits. A huge disadvantage for a TQM practice can be thehigh price of implementation and it may take a long period to show the benefits and outcomes ofthis implementation as stated by Samset and Volden, (2016). It can produce an additional costfor the organization and a lot of time is taken during this training so the employees are not ableto complete their day to day jobs. Employee resistance can occur during implementation of TQMas when the management does not communicate effectively with TQM team then the workersmay become fearful. The resistance of program by workers can lead to employee morale andproductivity of business.2
