marketing manager of an organization must possess is leadership skills as leadership skills help
the marketing manager to lead their staffs towards achieving their goals and objectives. The

marketing manager and the staffs of the company.
Inter-personal- As stated by Kumar & Möller (2018) the marketing manager of the company
must possess excellent inter-personal skills in order to communicate and interact with other
individuals in an effective manner. Excellent inter-personal skills help in the communicating in
an effective manner with other individuals through verbal and non-verbal modes of

Adaptability- As stated by Koch, Gerber & de Klerk (2018) one of the most vital skills which are
required from the marketing manager of the company is adaptability skills in order to adapt

organization operates is dynamic in nature and therefore the marketing manager of the company
needs to adapt according to the demand of the situation and to respond to any kind of changes in
the organization.

marketing manager of the company to possess problem solving skills in order to solve various

wishes to get recruited in any company. It is very essential to conduct reference check of every
prospective individual who has applied to fill the vacancies of a company, no matter how
impressive and amazing they appear on paper to an organization. As opined by Alameddine,
Yassoub, Mourad & Khodr (2017) reference check allows an organization to obtain important
information about a candidate’s previous on the job experience as the information which is
gathered by an organization during a reference check is directly related to the key selection
criteria of the role for which an individual have applied and enables the company to validate the
information provided by the candidate during the time of interview. According to Dworkin,
Hessel, Gliske & Rudi (2016) reference check also helps an organization to identify various grey
areas from the CVs of the potential candidates or from their interview such as regarding why did
they discontinue from their previous position.
