Introduction
The purpose of the paper is to present a reflective analysis based on the learning and
knowledge gained from the sessions conducted in my course. The modules discussed and
taught through the sessions were useful in building a base for my future endeavours and
career opportunities. The modules focus on the basic principles and aspects such as
organizations’ functioning with the role of management, the influence of motivation and the
role of the effective communication process. The paper demonstrates the relevance and
significance of the topic and application of learning in my workplace.
Body
About the content and its significance:
In the first module, I gained knowledge regarding the functioning and nature of
organization with the influence of the environment on the decisions and operational activities.
Being associated with the nursing background, learning about the changes in the
organizational behaviour with respect to the changing environment was significant for
understanding the rationale behind my workplace decision-making process (Bianchi et al.,
2018). In the second module, the topic was motivation and influence, which included the
conception of motivation and the impact of power and influence over individuals in the
workplace. This topic was significant to learn as it can help in responding efficiently to a
challenge or the imposition of different forms of influence for leading a group. The advanced
communication and its role in organizational efficiency was the next topic of our sessions,
where I have gained knowledge about the communication process and communication skills.
The significance of this topic was the discussion on the relationship between communication
and the conflict resolution in an organization.
Relevance of the topics:

The first topic was majorly relevant for by nursing background as it extensively
demonstrates the functioning of an organization with the influences caused by the external
and internal environment. I have learnt that organizations have evolved in the due course of
time with respect to the incorporation of technological revolution and shifting demand in the
external environment. In a nursing role in an organization, learning about the roles and
challenges faced by a managerial position was important as we, as nursing staff work as a
part of the management by planning the care requirements and organizing different
workloads. The topic discussed in the second module helped by reflecting upon the concept
of motivation and influence. Being working in the nursing background, I will be exposed to
the extended responsibility of working as a leader, which will require the skills and
understanding of motivation and the practice of power to direct the expertise of staff in a
single direction by the consideration of the challenges. The relevance of the third module
topic can be witnessed in each step of proceeding towards growth and skill development even
before working professionally as a nursing professional. Effective communication skills are
very important for efficient exploration of organizational roles and accountability as a nursing
official. The role of coordinating with the doctors and other institutional staff members and
most significant learning how to handle clients’ queries and communicating instructions to
the patients is the most significant knowledge, derived from the third module topic,
communication.
Past experiences in topic area:
My past experience in these topic areas were limited to its basic conception, which
was extended by the implication of these module discussions. In the past, I knew about the
main goal and missions of an organization and how it operates by collaborating key
stakeholders, but I lacked the knowledge regarding the actual challenges experienced by
managerial positions, which can arise from the external and internal environment. I had a
vague idea regarding motivation and influences in the past. I knew about the role of
