INTRODUCTION
Reflective practices in teaching is being defined as the process of managing which helps
in facilitating the learning and helps in developing professionally. The reflective teaching
practices aid in involving various action which is involved for aligning classroom action during
teaching different courses. As these practices are important as it helps in underlying the
practices and methods used for teaching to various students in classroom and aids in promoting
and positive learning with the beliefs and developing professional practices for engaging students
more effectively. This report provide details about meaning and theories of reflective practices.
Teaching practices adopted as business management teacher. Also, analysing various benefits of
the practice of refection and refection of action. Further, identifying the current performance
requirements, evaluating different tools used of reflective teaching. Also, analysing the
importance of using feedback and extent to which own inclusive practices promoting equality
and diversity. Furthermore, it also specifies abut the action plan with identifying goals and
reviewing practices with updating action and reviewing the effectiveness acquired with
knowledges and skills on practices. Using technologies ad haring knowledges and improvements
to practice with colleagues.
TASK-1
Explaining the meaning of reflective practice
Reflective practice is described as continuous learning approach which helps individual
for recalling various previous experiences and action which helps in improving and developing
in personal and professional manner. Reflective practice is defined as the process by facilitating
teaching and learning practices which helps in playing important role as for developing
professionally in teaching practices (Kramer, 2018). Refection is defined as the process for
assessing teaching practices which is adopted for teaching student about the business
management subjects helps in providing fruitful results or not. Reflective practices helps in
assessing and identifying various practice used for learning and teaching individual, also aid in
identifying the lacking areas and problems for acquiring various skills and abilities for engaging
student and effectively teaching in the classroom.
These practice helps in gaining additional awareness about the lacking area also planning
for taking various actions and abilities for teaching effectively and adopting various sources of

actions with adopting suitable options for teaching to student in classroom (Paujik and et.al.,
2021). Furthermore, by consonantly evaluating own practices helps in growing professionally
and developing own self as adopting various teaching methods with suiting the all learning styles
of students. As teachers is recognized as the biggest asset for teaching and providing eduction to
all the students in classroom. With various complexities occurring into teaching practices
adapted for educating students in classroom, reflective practices helps in reviewing the practices
adopted it helps in making questions to own practices adopted.
Reflective practices is recognized as an important tool which is used for professionally
developing and adopting the new learning settings by learning and transferring knowledges with
professional experiences. Reflective teaching practices is important as it helps in improving
professionally and provide better understanding of the actions and teaching practices adopted for
educating students in classroom (Ravanal Moreno and et.al., 2021). Furthermore, it helps in
identifying individual strengths and weakness by developing and acquiring necessary skills for
improving lacking area. With teaching various learners in classroom with suitable practice which
helps in effective learning to all student it helps in boosting and creating quality of content and
reflections between the teachers and students learners. Which further supports in enhancing
career and increases creativity for working effectively. With reflecting on the methods adopted
for teaching to all learners help in resolving various problem faced by student in classroom
which is limiting students engaging practices in learning and engaging effectively (Slade and
et.al., 2019). As it increases better inclusion of students with adopting suitable purpose and
effective teaching practices.
Moreover, reflective practice supports teaching and providing better education to all
learners. As it help in improving skill of teachers and supports in solving various competencies
by forming various plan which helps in judging and becoming the independent learner. With
reflecting on the various methods used for teaching it helps in reflecting and reconsigning
various methods and approaches used which is giving fruitful results by engaging students in
better learning an inclusively involving learners for ching and working well into the classroom. It
also help in better understanding surroundings and developing own personality (Zahid and
Khanam, 2019). Various teaching professionals using reflective practices as for developing
critical thinking and various other abilities as for engaging more effectively to all students while
teaching in classrooms.

Evaluating theories of reflective practice
Reflective theories are used for defining the experiences and knowledges in the real
world. The main goal of using these theories as for creating meaning and changing the
conceptual perspectives. It help in critical thinking and reduced the human emotional biasness.
With adopting these theories and practices it aids in supporting and providing various
knowledges and skills for addressing unique needs as for engaging students in better way for
learning and supporting all the styles of learners with engaged learning processes (Zwozdiak-
Myers, 2018). Various models of reflective practices involves :
Gibbs reflective model
Gibbs reflective model involves six stages, which helps in describing about developing
own personality as of teaching in better way to all students.
Description stage: At this description stage using this model , in teaching to all student it
helps in explaining about the situation in detail as for describing with the situation and
experiences . As what occurred while teaching and when did it occur. Further it also explains
about the situation as for explaining about audiences or individual present at the time of the
incident of situation occurs a while teaching. Also, the teacher explaining about the outcome of
situation as of teaching outcomes explaining the practice used for teaching and how effectively it
results in positive outcomes.
Feelings: In this stage of reflection, According to this stage teacher reflecting about the
feeling that the teacher experienced while teaching to all students in classroom. Also, explaining
about the before and after feeling of the situation, as teachers explaining about the feelings had
before and after the situation. Further, reflecting about the situation and other individual as
teacher reflecting about students feeling as by taking feedback of teacher method and style
adopted for teaching to all students in the classroom.
Evaluation: At the evaluation stage teachers reflecting on evaluating about the style
adapted for educating all learners in classroom. With concerning and evaluating each style and
approach used for teaching with positive and negative consequence. Also, evaluating about what
went well as which style and approach used given fruitful outcome and which style not.
Analysis: At this stage teacher reflecting about particular experience which went well by
teaching to all student with using the particular method (Gibbs' Reflective Cycle, 2022). Also,
reflecting about the feedback taken by the students and taking actions for improvement by

adopting more suitable methods which help in engaging students in better way as learning in
classroom and encourages independent learning at home. Also, explaining all the forces which
impacted teaching in classroom as of various distractions and explaining other distracting
factors.
Conclusion: at this step teacher aim for producing on reflecting about the learning
outcomes for the previous experiences. Also, reflecting about the skills and abilities o develop
for engaging and proper involving student in classroom. With adopting each style of teaching for
better engagement.
Action plan : Teacher reflecting about the developing action plan as for acquiring
additional skills and knowledge for adopting various new methods of teaching as for engaging
students in better way.
Brookfield model of reflection
This model of refection help in explaining and reflecting based on four lenses as of
Autobiographical, with eyes of students, reflecting by taking collogues experiences and
theoretical literatures. This model of refection helps in explaining about the focusing on the
teachers previous experiences. As which helps in describing about the own self reflecting on the
goal about achieving in future as being a teacher, also reflecting n the approaches adopted with
various approaches and making learning plans as for achieving the desired results as for
engaging students in better learning while teaching in classroom. With evaluating all the
perspective as for strengthening the individual skills and abilities for achieving the desired
outcome. Also, teachers reflecting from students eyes with taking feedback and evaluating
oneself with taking various responses of teaching style adopted as it is suiting the particular
purpose or not, also taking feedback for the various resources adopted for teaching which is
helping the students for learning and better engaging into th classroom.
Further, reflecting for gaining the information and knowledges form the other teachers
and professional. With engaging and communicating with Other teachers as for taking the other
collogues experiences . Reflection on the experiences with the other professionals helps in
motivating teachers as for contributing and taking better seminars and cont bruting with better
resources with peer views help in teaching and learning outcomes. Lastly teacher reflecting on
the views about the higher education perused and understanding of various knowledges and the
private struggles (Brookfield Model of Reflection, 2022) . With this mode, of refection it helps in

teaching and educating students in better way as by judging , planning designing, also evaluating
the own practice adopted for teaching students in classroom . Which helps in inspiring the self
confidences and educating to all students with designing smart goal and motivating own self .
Analysing the benefits to practice of reflection in action and reflection on action
Reflective practice helps in reflection as for improving and continuously updating
knowledges and skills. These are the tool and action used by teachers as for improving the and
effectively addressing learning need of student as for engaging better way in the classroom. The
main benefits of refection in action and refection on action are as follows:
Growing professionally: Reflective teaching practice helps in growing professionally as,
it supports in assessing strength and weakness while adopting various practice for teaching all
students in the classroom. It helps in addressing all goals and accomplish various tasks on timely
as by reflecting regularly for addressing all strategies adopted for engaging students.
Enhances innovation: reflecting teaching practice helps in addressing various lesson notes
and addressing all the need of students. By noting positive experiences and using various
teaching methods helps in searching and taking various innovating needs for teaching all
students. As by using the web sites and surveying internet and adopting various teaching
methods helps in assessing all students need and adopting appropriate resources for teaching and
encouraging interdependent learning styles on student in classroom.
Boosting teacher and students relations : With reflective practice in teaching it help in
booting the relations with all the students as it aid in supporting and addressing need of all
students. Using appropriate resource which is beneficial for students in learning easily helps in
engaging learners in effective way in classroom which aid in supporting and building better
relations with the students.
Enhances problem solving, enhances feedback by taking measures: As by reflective
practices it helps in addressing needs and solving various problems and challenges faced by
student while learning in the classroom. As by reflecting on own practice adapted for teaching
helps in defining lacking areas and adopting the challenges faced by students. Also, it supports in
building strategies with personalizing techniques for learning problem solving approaches and
stability for integrating better career options. Also, reflective practices helps in encouraging
feedback by students, with taking feedback helps in giving and taking response students about

the particular teaching practice is suitable for learning or what problems being faced by the while
learning in classroom.
Making lessons and adopting resources most effective: Reflective practice helps in
supporting and adopting lessons and resource which engages students for better learning and
implementing better strategies. Also, adopting the appropriate resource which is most suitable for
teaching nd engage learning to all students in classroom. These practices help in making notes
and various lesson plans which is most engaging and motivating student for ensuring and
providing various assessment for growing and encouraging.
Facilitating teaching practices: Reflective teaching practices helps in ensuring and
motivating each student for taking benefits. The teaching practices used by teachers for teaching
in classroom about various topics aims in motivating and engaging student for independent

Identifying current performance requirements relevant to business management profession
Performance requirement are combining of various skills and abilities acquired to perform and
posses the particular profession as for attaining specific job standards. As requirement in teaching
professional aid in addressing all the necessary skills and abilities for teaching and educating students
related to business management. Choosing the career profession in teaching the business management
to all students, performance requirement are a follows:
Professionalism : Being the teacher for the business management, professionalism defines
about acquiring various skills and ethical practices adopted for educating students in classroom. A

being professional by respecting all students and press while working in educational institution and
teaching to all students, also addressing and appearing in proper manner with being positive and
empathetic . Further, communicating with all students without any biasness in respectful and positive
manner helps in maintaining professionalism .
Planning and delivering various lessons : As for planning and delivering lecture to all students.
As planning for delivering student with considering addressing their needs and making lecture notes
and adopting various resource as for engaging better to all students for active learning in classroom. As
I have panning for providing lecture notes in proper sequence and providing complete course material
to all students. I have also planned as for addressing various needs by organising various activities and
conducting business management classes for better engaging students for learning in classroom.
Professional knowledges: Acquiring professional knowledges in teaching as for teaching
business management to all students in classroom. Acquiring knowledge is must for teaching business
management. As being the teacher in business management I had knowledge of content of the subject
also addressing curriculum before teaching subject to all students according to prescribed fundamental
knowledges. As for educating all students related to the business management I have acquired
knowledge of structuring and making various lesson plans by making lecture and engaging student for
understanding the meaningful lecture.
Knowledges of learning environment: As being the teacher of business management,
knowledges for learning environment is very important. As this knowledge helps in forming and
maintaining various lesson plans and resources used for educating students. Environment
knowledge helps in encouraging and motivating learners in classroom by practising and
effectively learning independently at home .
Evaluating different tools used in the reflective teaching
There are various tools that might be used in reflective teaching and some of them are
described as follows:
Open ended questionnaires: It is method that requires that students answers various
questions in detailed format so that more accurate information or review might be collected.
Also, certain questions like what do you like about the course and the teaching style would
help in getting the complete overview whether teaching provided is correctly or not. Moreover,
with these questionnaires detailed overview might be gained about the teaching practices

Closed ended questionnaires: This tool in reflective teaching allows the teacher to
know about the effectiveness of teaching from the students through forming the questionnaires
that have the fixed number of questions. Also, these questions are in form of multiple choice
questions that allows the students to make the good choice for the options provided that they
think is right and is quite relatable with the teaching.
Suggestion box: This type of technique might be used by teacher where group of
students are asked to submit their opinions after the learning sessions about the teaching
behaviour and style in form of suggestion box (Choy and et.al., 2020). Also, here students are
able to share their ideas freely about the teaching style , behaviour and the knowledge of
concepts and much more as the name is not revealed. Hence, it is best method when there are
large group of students that are not comfortable in sharing their ideas openly in front of the
teachers.
Email: It is method that allows the teacher to get immediate response from the students
through sending the set of questions via email so that students are able to respond whenever
they feel like. Also, this method work best in those situations where the students are already
using the computer or any other digital technology (Mohammadi, 2022). Moreover, email
might be used when the teacher have the limited time in collecting the opinions from each
student in the class and thus using this method it would save lot of time and also the collection of
results would help in the teacher to wok in the improvement areas.
Analysing importance of using feedback from different sources
It is very important that teacher collect the opinions from different sources such as
students, other professionals colleagues and much more so that overview of the work might be
found out easily. Also, the ones that are frequent in collecting the feedback form the different
sources are able to build up the greater confidence to carry out the task in effective manner.
Also, through the feedback the teacher is able to reflect on the teaching strategies that is used
by them and the make certain adjustments to make the teaching and learning of the students
more better (Gheith and Aljaberi, 2018). Moreover , teachers that are using the feedback from
others are able to increase the motivation and engagement among the others through
establishing the better relationships. Also, they are able to support in the student well-being
through bringing change in the teaching methods and the attitudes so that students are able to

learn certain business management concepts in the bests of manner and also able to develop
strategies that might help in improving the students performance in the future
Moreover, through constructive feedback teacher is able to identify the area of
improvement so that certain corrective measures might be taken on time. Moreover, it enables
the teacher to understand the learner mindset so that accordingly the teaching practices than
might be carried out (Saimon and Mtenzi, 2021). Furthermore, it is through the feedback that
teachers are able to develop short and long term goals so that higher development might be
achieved in the field of teaching as well students would be benefit in terms of better professional
growth in the future. Thus ,it can be said that it is essential for the teachers to take timely
feedback so that better learning culture might be developed and morale of the students are also
increased as they feel that opinions matter and are implemented in the right manner by the
teacher. Also , through the feedback teachers are able to retain the information and increase the
competencies systemically so that similar mistakes does not happen while delivering any kind of
learning sessions to the diverse students.
Assessing to which own practice is inclusive and promotes equality and diversity
In delivering all the learning session I have the ensured that equality is promoted within
the classroom in most effective manner so that very students is able to get equal chances to speak
and present certain views on teaching concepts that is been delivered in the class so that
positive work culture is developed among the students in the class. Also, it is very essential that
diversity in the classroom is accepted amongst various cultural differences, age gaps and the
gender differences (Zebehazy and et.al., 2022). Also, the teacher is able to maintain such
diversity through treating all the students in equal and fair manner. Moreover , clear rules need
to be set so that students are able to treat each other in proper manner without creating any
kind of conflicts. Also, it is role of the teacher that to promote the equality among the students
all the negative attitudes are not accepted within the during learning sessions and if it happens
that strict action against the student need to be taken to maintain the good learning environment .
Furthermore, the teacher is able to promote the diversity among the students through ensuring
the consistent communication, acknowledging and respecting every students views.
Also, it might be practice through giving the students right amount of freedom and
flexibility so that they are able to take certain decisions independently without hesitation or any
problem (Jacobs and et.al., 2019). Moreover, I have ensured that students are able to enjoy their

teaching time through fostering the culture of the teamwork and also ensuring that I express
interest in knowing the ethnic background of the students so that their differences might be
celebrated and also I am able to work on those students are vulnerable in the class so that their
standards might be improved to some extent that would be best of both their personal and
professional growth in the future. Moreover, for my personal evaluation in ensuring that
diversity is maintained in the class as I have set certain targets through which easy monitoring
and evaluation might be done. Also, proper care is taken to ensure that policies and procedures
that are followed while teaching the group of people are non discriminatory and are useful in
providing equal access to the students in the participation.
TASK -3
Identifying the goals that need to be improved in own practice
During last week of delivering the lecture sessions I have found out that I was not able
to clear certain concepts business management and this I came to know through the feedback
from the students that I have taken after the teaching sessions (Thiagraj and Karim, 2020). Also,
such type of inefficiency in the oral communication have created misunderstanding among some
of the students and also I have came to know that students have drawn certain conclusions by
themselves based on the wrong interpretation on the topics that I have taught to them in
previous lecture classes. Moreover, I have analysed that time management skills were also weak
because I used to miss certain deadlines of the project because of which I was not able to
deliver the business management classes to other group people of students that were interested
in learning few concepts from me. Moreover, I have seen that due to lack of proper time
management I was not able to maintain balance in both personal and professional life and used to
remain tensed and worried all the time. Also, I have analysed that time management is very
important to achieve certain objectives on specified time and maintain the efficiency in the
working in the future (Hei, 2019). Furthermore, I came to know that my creativity skills are
also less efficient when I was unable to make students understand about various challenging
business management concepts in best possible manner.
Review and updating the action plan
For the above stated goals that need to be achieved by me in certain time period the best
action plan that would be taken would be as follows:

 In improving the time management skill I would start prioritizing various task so that
the most important task would be completed on the first following the least important
task to be completed at the last. Also, for each task that need to be accomplished in day
it is essential that all the activities are given the specified time frame so that work might
be carried out systematically.
 Moreover for creativity skill I will try to solve the difficult business related examples in
most effective manner (Abusalim, 2020.). Also, I would identify all possible solutions
for the given problem so that my thinking power is increased . Furthermore, certain
seminars would be attained so that knowledge of the other team leaders might be
gained. Also, I would try and take help of the online videos that will help me in
identifying ways through which creativity level might be enhanced.
 Also, to improve my communication skill I would try to participate in group events
where i would try and understand different people way of communication and listening
skills. Also, I would try to speak in the public gathering and also take timely feedback to
get the idea on the way of my communication and level of understanding among the
people.
Reviewing the effectiveness of newly acquired knowledge
The effectiveness of the newly acquired knowledge in context of time management
would be reviewed through completion of certain lecture sessions in day on time. Also,
effectiveness would be achieved in best way when the I am able to live balanced life and all the
work planned in day including both professional and personal are completed without having any
kind of stress. Moreover, in context of creative skills it might be said that it effectiveness would
be measured through solving complex tasks relating to business management problems
effectively without seeking help form other professionals (Maynard, 2019.). Also, creativity
would be ensured when the students are able to learn various old concepts in the interesting
manner. Lastly, for communication skills success criteria would be measured when the students
are able to learn and understand certain business management concepts in the best manner and
also I am able to solve certain queries of the students during the lecture sessions without thinking
much about it.

Use of technologies and resources to keep own practice
To improve the above goals and to ensure that this practice is been followed over
specified time frame than there are certain resources and technologies that are required in the
whole process. Thus for improving the current communication skills in me resource required
is newspaper , journals and articles that would enhance the knowledge of in way any sentence is
been written and formed (AlMalki and Alkhalili, 2019). Also, proper internet connection is
required to watch certain online videos that demonstrate speaking skills while addressing to
large audiences. Moreover, it is required so that it would help me trying and drafting the mail to
other teaching professionals so that my way of communicating the sentence formation might be
easily identified and rectified
Further , for improving creativity skill the most important technology required is
computer and the internet connection that would enable me to search for various techniques that
have applied by other professionals in delivering any kind of learning sessions to vast diverse of
students. Also, for improving time management skills most important resources required are the
digital watch to track the total time taken in undertaking very activity to be completed in the
day (Kaya and Adiguzel, 2021). Furthermore, proper calender is also required so that
completion of each task might be marked and rerecorded for the future references. Also, if the
time tracker is also there than it would be good for tracking all the activities and will help in
identifying which activity had consumed most of the time so that accordingly lecture sessions
might be delivered
Share knowledge , skills and improvement to practice
It is essential that if above action plan designed by me went successful than it should be
communicated to other people that are struggling to improve the similar goals for the future so
that they might also work on the similar path to improve for the best. Also, sharing the skills
with other teaching professionals, colleagues and friends would not only improve my
knowledge in carrying out certain activities but would also allow me to identify new area or
department of the teaching that will further help in my growth and development in the future
(Roper, 2019). Also, sharing will others in the best possible way would help them in improving
the current practice of the teaching with new methods and would also help in maintaining the
required amount of motivation to face the future challenges in the positive manner. Furthermore,
through sharing I would be able to build better connections with other professionals that would

assist me in the future projects. Also, through following the practice for longer time period it
would allow me take faster decisions and reduce loss of less know how that would also build
great relation with the students . Furthermore, if the sharing is done in timely and proper
manner than there are higher chances that I would be able to develop new ways in which the
teaching related to the business management might be delivered in most effective manner. Also,
it is seen that people that share their knowledge with others tend to develop higher productivity
so that work might be done faster and in smarter manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that reflective practice is wider concept as it
helps the individual in recalling previous experiences so that professional growth might be
achieved. Also, the study had discussed various reflective theories that would improve the
reflective practice of any individual in the long run. Furthermore, certain benefits of the action
had also been evaluated in detail. Also, the study had identified various performance
requirements in area of the business management. Moreover , various tools such as open
ended , closed ended , suggestion box etc. had been discussed so that better reflection on
teaching might be gathered. Also, report had identified importance of using the feedback from
different sources so that performance might be improved. Further, development plan had been
discussed in detail so that certain skills such as communication, time management and
creativity might be increased in specified time frame. Lastly, certain success criteria and
resources required in accomplishment of such goals had also been discussed in detail under this
report.
