Executive Summary
The study is a reflective report that is based on the study of Dynamic Leadership. The
presence of the dynamic leadership style along with the different kinds of leadership
perspectives of a leader has been the major characteristics of the following project. However,
the most important part of the following report has been the inclusion of the results of the
Gallup Test which is one of the major tests to standardise the leadership abilities of a person.
The Gallup test have helped in the proper discussion and analysis of the assignment. The
report has also included the different theories that are practised in leadership. The report
starts with a basic introduction that describes the term dynamic leader and its importance in
the professional life. The Gallup Test that has been conducted has described the
characteristics of a leader. The leader who was unaware of his inner strength have now
identified his hidden characteristics and must implement them in a positive manner to
establish himself as an able and professional leader. The theories of strength and adaptivity of
the leader has been included in the following report. The report finally ends with a brief yet
compact conclusion that has provided a summary of the total report.

Introduction
The term leadership has a great importance in the modern business world. The
presence of an efficient leader can help the different organizations to ensure the success and
sustainability of the business (Youngman, 2017). The report prepared here is a reflective
report based on the elements of Dynamic Leadership. A dynamic leader can be said to be a
person who generally craves for knowledge and experience. This experience is used by the
leader to ensure success and sustainability for the business organization. These kind of tactics
and strategies are generally used by the leaders to support their influence based on the
reciprocal engagement as well as the different kinds of communication process.
According to, Eichenseer & Moser (2019) the dynamic leader is capable of following
the right path and also helps to lead the others to the right path in order to achieve the vision,
mission and goals of the business organization. The leader can be differentiated from that of
the dynamic leader by the latter’s ability to take instant decisions for the betterment of the
organization. The report has highlighted the elements and perspectives of the dynamic leader
by providing a reflective example of a leader. The use of the Gallup test as the means of the
leadership strengths finder has further intensified the contents of the report.
Current Role, responsibilities and leadership challenges
Being a dynamic leader exemplifies a huge responsibility as the leader is presented
with the opportunity to exercise the authority of taking and making the best decisions for the
organization. Currently I work as a Human Resource Manager in a multinational organization
based in Australia. My role as a HRM manager is quite important for the success of the
business in a proper and effective manner. My leadership Quality is basically dependent on
my inner capability to motivate the employees and lead them to the correct path for the
achievement of the goals of the organization. Being a dynamic leader I have the capability to

communicate in a proper and effective manner and have the ability to take crucial decisions
in a short notice. Apart from this my honesty and creativity are additional strengths of my
leadership character. As a dynamic leader I have a number of major tasks or functions that
generally helps me to improve my abilities as a leader. This includes;
a. Setting Goals- The setting of the goals for the employees must be done by me in line
with the goals of the organization. The setting of the goals in such a manner can
ensure the success of the business in a proper and effective manner. I must set an
overall goal for all the employees and also set different individual goals for the
employees according to their capabilities.
b. Organization- Organization of the task is one of the major tasks that I have to
manage in a proper manner. The organization of the tasks of the enterprise must be
done by me at the earliest to help in the development of the business.
c. Co-ordination- The common objectives of the organization must be maintained in a
proper manner in order to ensure the success of the business in a proper manner. I
have to take care of the capabilities of each and every organization and accordingly
coordinate the goals and strategies of the organization in the most appropriate manner.
d. Action Plan- Being the leader automatically puts the responsibility on me to construct
a scientific and suitable action plan that can be helpful for the success of the
organization. I will be assessing the condition of the organization and then provide a
proper action plan. The action plan that will be prepared by me will address the
different problems of the organization and will provide a transparent picture of how
the employees will work.
e. Management and employee link- Another major task that is one of the primary
priorities is the link and proper coordination in between the management and the

employees of the business enterprises. A proper link has to be established by me in
order to ensure smooth operations.
f. Motivating the employees- One of my most important tasks as a leader is to motivate
the employees to perform in a much better manner to ensure that the different goals of
the organization are met easily. I must motivate the employees to improve their own
professional career as well as enhance the performance of the business organization.

Key Aspects of the Leadership Role
The leadership roles and responsibilities have helped me to turn into a more mature
and responsible person, capable of meeting new challenges boldly. My capability to manage
and yarn for more knowledge has been the most positive for me as it helps me to carry on the
leadership process in an efficient manner. Some of the key aspects of my leadership process
are provided below;
a. Being Transparent- Transparency is a primary characteristic of a leader. It is my
duty to be transparent and clear in each and every step to the employees. It is

important for me to transparent in order to properly communicate with the employees
and lead them towards the goals of the organization in a smooth manner.
b. Learning from the past mistakes- The most important form of learning can be the
ones learnt from the past mistakes. The proper learning from the mistakes of the past
can be the best learning experience for me. I regularly try to analyse the past
situations and try to implement the ideas from such kind of experience.
c. Confidence- Confidence has been another key aspect of my leadership style. My
confidence has helped me to develop my leadership abilities. The development of my
leadership abilities has helped me to strengthen my position as an able and efficient
leader.
d. Being Creative- My leadership abilities has helped me to be creative and successful
in nature. I have applied a number of different kinds of innovative features in the
business in order to ensure the success of the business in a proper manner.
e. Easy Adoption- Early adoption in different kinds of situation has been one of the key
aspects of my leadership style. The better I adopt to situations, the better will be my
leadership abilities. The easy adoption to the situations has helped me to manage the
employees in a smart manner.
Gallup Test and its results
There are different kinds of strengths and weaknesses in each and every person. The
leaders must provide extra importance to their strengths in order to manage their roles in a
proper and effective manner. The Gallup Test is the perfect test for the determination of the
leadership qualities in a person (gallupstrengthscenter.com, 2019). The Gallup test helps to
determine the inner strengths and the hidden qualities of a person which helps them to ensure
the application of the best possible strategies to properly manage the employees and

operations in an organization. The result of my own Gallup test has been quite positive in
nature and has been helpful for my role as a leader.
The very first benefit that the Gallup Test has provided me was the application of the
ideation theme. The ideation theme was categorized by my capability to determine the best
strategies and apply them accordingly. I found out that I had a natural quality to make the
right decisions at the right time and apply the best strategy in the most positive manner.
Secondly, I found out that it was quite common for me to quickly befriend people or the
employees who will be led by me. This instinct in me is one of the best because it helps me to
mix up with the employees and the people easily and understand their demands and
problems. This will help me to address them easily and strategize the future plans in a
scientific manner.
Communication has been one of my major advantages since my childhood as I was
one of the few who could easily communicate with different people in school, college as well
as in the workplace. My communication skill was again proved to be a success from the
Gallup Test and it will help me to ensure business success. My better communication skills
will be an asset for me in the future as I can easily use the skill to ensure the application of a
better and positive communication within the business environment. Apart from the above
mentioned skills my context thinking skill has been one of my hidden skills. The ability to
think in a positive manner and apply the best skills to ensure the right ideas has been the best
skills. The capability to clearly ensure balancing the different organization operations.
Feedback Points based on the Gallup Test
The primary benefit that I received from the conduction of the Gallup test has been
the determination of my inner strengths. I was totally unaware of most of my abilities. My
leadership journey overall has been a major advantage for me. My journey in leading people

has experienced a number of rough and bright patches which has helped me to be a complete
and successful leader over time. My huge experience has helped me to establish a strong
position in my office. As a HRM manager I have been able to establish my supremacy over
my juniors in the workplace. These abilities can further help me to be a great and dynamic
leader with immense capabilities. My easy adoption to any situations, easily able to befriend
people and a great sense of communication has helped me to develop myself as an able and
competent leader. The result of the test also showed my capability as a great decision maker.
This particular result certainly embodied myself as a leader of choosing the best decisions at
the most appropriate times. It is one of my most important tasks to ensure the success of the
business in a proper way. I generally motivate my employees by describing about the
advantages of working hard. I tell them about the reward system present in the organization
to ensure that they stay motivated and perform in the right manner. I am quite confident in
leading the people and I believe that my confidence can help to lead the employees in the
right direction. During the mentoring sessions we discussed about the inner strengths which
are important for success. My partner helped me to identify that I had the ability to
communicate in the most efficient manner while I described about his motivating power.
Implications from the feedback
The feedback provided in the context of the following report has been one of the most
important elements of the same. The feedback has acted as the major source of learning
experience for the organization. The ability to effectively communicate with the people
which has been found out to be a major advantage for me can also be a success story for my
professional career. The experience and knowledge I have been receiving from the different
kinds of the happenings as a leader has helped me to increase my leadership skills.

The dynamic leadership theories clearly describes the roles and the importance of the
leaders. The leadership theories have helped in my decision making skills and ability to
properly guide the people towards success. The dynamic leadership in me has been a major
characteristic in me that has been helpful for me to improve my professional skills. The very
first theory that directly links with my character is the Adaptive leadership theory. As I have
the capability to adapt to each and every situation and lead a diverse workforce, it helps me to
ensure the success of the business in an efficient manner. The leadership theory based on
inner strength can also be referred to my character. My inner strength and calmness is one of
the greatest assets that helps me to earn respect as a leader.
Conclusion
The report has been able to quite successfully achieve all the different kinds of the
objectives. The report has been quite unique in nature as apart from the proper presentation of
the different kinds of the perspectives of dynamic leadership, the following reflexive report
has provided a Gallup Test and has analysed the results as well as the feedback from the
results of the Gallup test. The inclusion of the Gallup test has been done in order to gain a
clear understanding of the leadership qualities and capabilities. The report has highlighted the
total journey of myself as a leader. My leadership abilities have been one of my major
strengths that has been influential for my success as a leader. Different kinds of experiences
has helped me to gather the necessary skills in the organization. The leadership abilities and
the experiences gathered from my professional life has enhanced me as a better and able
professional.
