INTRODUCTIONHealth is important for every individual so there are many health provider organizationsthat are taking care of people. These kinds of organizations are continuously focusing on the highquality treatment and safety of every person. Leadership is a vital factor for such kind of centresbecause they are the only one who can shape the work culture of company (Montgomery andDouglas, 2009). These people can lead the organization towards success in improving the growthof workers and customers. The present report is based on Park Day Centre which focuses onDementia. Park Day Centre provides health related services to its customers on the basis of highquality treatment. Along with this, they have a good supporting staff who are delivering topquality health and social services to the consumers. The purpose of this report is to identifystructure and culture that is followed by Park Day Center (Welford, 2013). Along with this,SWOT analysis will be done to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats ofbusiness. On the basis of this, appropriate recommendations will be given to minimize threatsand overcome challenges so that, Park Day Centre can perform successfully. TASK 1. Current Organisational Structure and Culture at Park Day CentreOrganizations are established for a purpose to accomplish the goals and objectives thatthey set before implementing any plan. Structure is used to define the hierarchy in organizationaccording to the roles and authorities of employees. It determines the way in which informationis communicated to different level of employees. The structure is based on its hierarchy like itcan be tall or flat. In tall structure, there are number of layers according to the position of employees thatare working. If a worker is having any query then at first, they can contact with their supervisor. In flat structure, there is no hierarchical structure and person can directly contact to hishigher authority (Lambsdorff, 2007). Park Day Centre is currently following the divisional,functional and matrix structure. Functional structure: This helps the organization in achieving goals according to itsfunctions. This structure divides company into its functional unit on the basis of speciality andworkers. Park Day Centre performs different functions in distinct departments and some

functional units are marketing, finance, research and human resource management. Companyshould use this type of structure in their organization so that each department can perform well intheir own. Divisional structure: This structure is generally followed by large organizations that areproviding products in variety. This divides company according to its different departments on thebasis of products and services. Matrix structure: This is also known as the hybrid structure and it is followed in thecentres. In this, both functional and divisional managers are working at the same level. This ismore beneficial than any other structure. Because it can provide a flexibility in the command. The culture of Park Day Centre supports its structure in achieving the objectives. Itsculture supports the work that is performed by individuals and team and also, motivates theemployees for their hard work (Solomon, 2014). This provides openness in the workenvironment within company and it also offers opportunity in identifying their own needs. ParkDay Centre follows the task and role culture in their healthcare centre and this defines individualrole of each member of the firm and they have to do task according to their role. They are doingresearch on the disease so that they can provide proper treatment to their patients. They providemedical education to all their staff members so that they can handle the customers. 2. Relevant stakeholders in Park Day Centre and their perspectives of quality in ParkOrganization is having many stakeholders in their internal and external environment.These can be any person, organization and society who is having interest in the activities ofcompany. These can be affected by the performance, objectives, policies and procedures of firmand they can affect the performance of company (Tayur, Ganeshan and Magazine, 2012). Somestakeholders in Park Day Centre are employers, patients, government, physicians,pharmaceutical firms and insurance companies. They have their own roles and responsibilities inthe organisation. Managers: Manager is an internal stakeholder who is focused on his salary that hereceived from the concerned company. These people work in the care centre and helporganisation in providing good treatment to all patients. Patients: These are the customers of health care centre and they pay for the services thatcompany gave to them. They are connected with the firm and also help them in improving theirgrowth and profitability.
