Executive Summary
In the following study a report outline and resource analysis is done on understanding the usage of
social media. This is done on a retail organization in Australia. In the current age the social media
usage implemented at the workplace helps in effective communication. It also helps the information
to get shared in a particular way to encourage inputs, collaborations and sharing. The study seeks the
answers to different questions like understanding the intensity of social media regarding task-

Background of the present concern:
Businesses that never use social media at the workplace is likely that their employees can use
that regardless of the policy (Fusi & Feeney, 2018). Nevertheless, it is a platform to bring the
workplace together. It elevates the way in which information and communication can be shared in a
specific manner encouraging sharing, collaboration and inputs (Forsgren & Byström, 2018).
Purpose of report outline:
The report outline intends to investigate the effective modes of digital communication
strategy. This is to be under within the business of a retail organization at Australia.
Topic of the report:
For the current study, the chosen topic is “Understanding the usage of social media at the workplace
to communicate”.
Purpose of the current report:
The report outlines the use of present day digital innovation of social media deployed at the
workplace to make communication. Further, it intends to understand the various measures for
leveraging the technology of social media within business. Besides, the ways it can include the brand
ambassadors and employees, from every levels and position at the business are to be analyzed. This
